Idea for new armory event

Taking one gun from each tech tree and making another copy which would be available for riflemen (all br5 ideas)

Japan:
Type 96 x8

Germany:
Stg44 x8

America:
M1918a2 (w/out shot deviation) x8

Russia:
Box mag ppSh x8

If I understand correctly, the idea is to give the BR3 assault weapon to classes that can’t have it on the BR5. But wouldn’t it be too much to give the sturmgewehr to the riflemen?

What I want is a 40 round magazine for the A2 BAR, and they can drop it into BR4 or BR5. I would call it the BAR1918 A2/40 so it would not be moving the original A2 up, it would be a new gun.

Yeah pretty much, but only the more common automatic weapons such as the ones listed on the post

I think the most logical option would be an alternative to the PPSh box. But there is no such thing in the game yet. A modified MP-40 with an increased rate of fire should be introduced into the tech tree.

As an event weapon if fair but put a stick mag Suomi in the TT instead

Or maybe it would be better if Germany remained Germany? And would get cool German guns in TT?

True but I don’t think it was often that mp40 would get the 1100 rpm configuration in real life. It was more often SS officers got the Suomi’s I imagine

Viking division? As far as I remember, this is the only German unit that was armed with Suomi.

Yeah although 3042 kp/31’s were ordered during the continuation war. However there is a chance they didn’t get every one of those ordered copies. But still , the fact there’s at least something to show for the kp31 being used on the eastern front compared to the mp40 with the 1100 modification, which I only came across one photo of it on here, but everything else beyond the forums on the topic says there wasn’t an mp40 with an rpm any higher than 540

It’s not a bad idea, but I prefer new/GO weapons than ones I can already buy.

Yeah I can see what you mean there. Beside this event idea, I like to see another event with additional Kurz gewehrs and pp shpitalney’s
