Idea for massively used or iconic weapons

Yes. This one.

This defeats the point of having classes of soilders.

Not all of them, only 4 out of 7 soldiers, what about the other three soldiers?

The event squad of assault engineers includes 6 engineers who can be armed with assault rifles. In that event, 2 squads were given out - one for Germany and the second for the USSR.

Ah, my bad my guy, missed “engineers”, sorry about that (dyslexia).

Still, I do want my historical late war German squad at some point, it would be baller, 9 men with STGs.

How is Johnson iconic or massively used?
It was a low thousand numbers and issued to Marine Paratroopers and special forces.

Is that even the main issued one? Wasn’t that the M1A1 or the M1?

Not the most common or iconic ones the Soviet received either.

M1A1 exceeded half a million in production, and was almost double that of the production of M1s.

Lend-lease Thompsons were usually one of these two types yes, the UK had a wider range as they first bought commercial Thompsons up front (1921s and 1928s) but later got them as lend-lease instead (M1928A1, M1 and M1A1s in order from least to most recieved).

Fair, but I think its still more “iconic” for WW2 US than the M1928 which I think saw limited use in early war before they produced the M1 and M1A1 which were easier and cheapter to produce.

Correct, when lend-lease got going it would have been one of the two M1 models almost all of the time, the M1A1 really is the quintessential WW2 Thompson.

Well 7 man Assaulter squads aren’t that much different, especially when using those legacy Stalinggrad assaulters that can bring one extra STG because of the extra medic - or even adding a sniper to the squad and removing the scope from his sniper STG.

How is 4 (five if you’re lucky enough to be a veteran) anywhere near 9?

You missed the premise of a full rifleman squad of STG weilding men…

Medic can use ARs again?

Uh was that removed? Okay then its just the sniper. But thats still 5 men,

Well in my case, my BR5 assaulters have 4 men STG, one guy with sniper STG and the last two bring G43K - which has somewhat comparable gameplay to STGs.

Technically STG could be turned into a trooper weapon, since its really not much different in total power to FG42, but that would leave German BR5 assaulter without any weapon.

Yea medics can use ar’s.

Then use that, just think you might surely might play in a lower tier but if you enjoy the gun you should play that gun

This topic is not about using a weapon at the combat rating it was made for. Although yes. The third battle rating is the best place to play for Japan, because further Japan has no normal weapons. Only dieselpunk laser guns without soul and with fictitious stats. In addition, open, shooting from end to end of the Pacific Ocean maps does not go well with powerful tank HE shells and aircraft with HVARs.

True however it was used in the same way as the Bar A2 just about except it was lighter. Not really massively used but similar to the bar still as far as how it was used.

Yeah I I said in an earlier comment I’m reconsidering taking that off the list in retrospect

I insisted including the captured ppsh’s too because of the fact there wasn’t a structure around who used captured ppsh’s, it was more so it was a trophy, anyone who picked them up got to use them. Simple “finders keepers” principle to it. Would have been weird if you found a weapon and have your squad leader tell you that you weren’t allowed to use it since you weren’t a squad leader lol. And I added the mp43/1 since besides the rpm, there’s nothing different from the stg.

Would probably be a good as easy to obtain event squad.

But not exactly sure should it be “TT” option.
