The AI is kinda too weak in my opinion, used to be much better, anyone feel the same way?

Ai seems toâŠto lack of a better turm be good in plain situations. 4 example just staying on semi-open field and fire at enemy u fire or mark. When they are left to themselves or in the building then oh boye itâs just cannon fodder

Well id argue the AI is still better than average player.
Id tone down a bit the 360 headshots they tend to do across the map.
Also would tweak theyr awareness in cqc, for some odd reason they do those 360 insta headshots in cqc more often if you run at them with gun and when you just switch to knife they let you happily butcher the entire squad.
Bots are pointless in Enlisted. This isnât about them being too lethal or too helpless. They simply donât add anything positive to the game and often ruin it. Until that changes it doesnât matter what else developers do to them.
Well, I actually love the Idea of having AI in a game like enlisted, we haven had good AI combat since⊠well since the olden times⊠you know original battlefield and such.
My problem kinda is tho, that we have gotten to the point where i dont expect my units to fight anymore, they die before killing anything⊠so i keep them behind the lines and use them basically as a âcheapâ respawn mechanic, or if we need more men on the flag I order them to ânot fireâ so that they move straight to the point without risking the chance of being spotted, since yea If your AI wont shoot, the enemy is also less like to see them.
Its just that i remember that the AI has been much harder to deal with some patches ago.

Iâm technically not against AI squads, at least I donât think I am. I just see that they donât work at all for me in this game. Years go by and nothing changes in the grand scheme of things.
This game completely fails to convey the feeling that youâre commanding a squad and not dragging around extra bodies to possess after dying. It also fails to convey that youâre facing squads and not a bunch of dull automatons that sometimes maybe have an actual threat among them.
To me it doesnât matter whether or not they get kills with the way they function now. I donât see or realize it when they do and itâs supremely unrewarding either way. The same thing when I face enemy bots, except that at least I get points for culling them. I realise you canât exactly do âBrothers in Armsâ in multiplayer, but what we have here is a disgrace.
As for whether or not they actually got any weaker recently, thereâs a lot that goes into that and it would be difficult for me to gauge because I stopped paying attention to them. Did you maybe join a new campain? Bots are absolutely helpless until you get them to five stars, always have been. Well, except for that time when they used to snipe everyone through bushes from any distanceâŠ

Every time someone demands the AI need to be buffed, they turn into aimbots whenever an AI focused update release. The AI needs to look and act believable, not âbuffedâ. Artificial Intelligence is very complex and Iâm certain the devs have more plans with it. We unfortunately need to wait for this process.

Gonna be honest, AI are fine as is, just inconsistent. All they really need to be better is have better pathing, because it ESPECIALLY shows in Stalingrad if you have an AI teammate. Apart from that theyâre just inconsistent with gun skill with various weapons, with AI using BAR / M2C being far superior to any AI using a Springfield. (So long as you mark so they look in the right direction)

Hereâs a typical situation with AI: you go into the capture zone, half of your squad stays outside. Theyâd spaz out and run back and fourth a bit, suddenly lie down and look at the wall for a while, try going into the capture zone, come back out, spaz out a little more, get knifed by a single player. Thatâs a lot more than âjust inconsistentâ and far from âfine as isâ.

Thatâs why you direct them to get on the point, thatâs when theyâll get on the point. If you do not give them orders theyâll just try their best moving cover to cover to stay near you and be safe.
anyway, I donât want Stalingradâs ai
