The BAR 1918 did come with a rate of fire reducer mechanism, so theoretically the base BAR 1918 could have its ROF dropped all the way down to 350 which was the lowest bottom reduced speed. However, If it needed reduced to please the Japanese and German mains, then I would drop it so it matched the RPK, since they are fairly similar. The RPK only has a ROF of 500 maxed, but other then the small magazine of 15 rounds I love it. Even a BAR with a 500 ROF would be decent at BR2, however if the ROF is reduced then the recoil should be reduced as well.
As far as that goes, the FN1930 which is the German and Japanese BAR copy could get a level two version with a ROF de buff and drop one to level two. Although it is a BP weapon so I’m not sure how many people actually have it. I have four of the German ones but none of the Japanese ones. However, if the Dev’s would just cut the horizontal recoil of the MG13 that would make a world of difference.
