Why would you call it better when you can just set the m2 to semi and have double the mag size?

If you’ve played as much Normandy as I have, using the m2 over the m1 isn’t a problem of upgrades. Might just be a matter of how many bronze orders you spend there.

Same damage yes, but can the m1 operate in fully automatic. It shreds at short range, and does just as well at medium range. The m2 is a big upgrade, period.

I don’t understand how you don’t like the sight picture after the changes. You can most certainly see what you’re shooting at now.

the only positive side of the m2 is the automatic mode, which I personally do not see the usefulness, since apart from fg42 every other automatic rifle in the game (avs, avt, m2, zk29) has too much recoil and wastes too many shots, and given the Since an upgraded semi-auto is lethal in the same way as an auto weapon in cqc, I prefer to use semi-auto weapons without auto fire

I mean, it still recoils twice as hard as the MP43 for no reason at all, and they never changed the recoil visuals so it’s just as hard to use as it always was.

A scope for the Carbines wouldn’t help matters. on auto, you’d lose sight of the target as soon as recoil hits, on semi the gun’s not accurate enough to make a scope worth having.

Bad ones, but that’s still a fair point.

Not at all. They fixed it I believe.

I’m able to use it with no issues.

that bs maybe you can fire blind but its a fact that the recoil make the sight cover all your screen, and the blinding flash dont make you see shit.
