I miss twitch drop tbh

I mean free stuff is free stuff and it might even be promotional for the game and bring in a little bit of player but it is what it is. Still see warthunder twitch drop all the time tho.

I do not miss them since I really don’t like Twitch. Current small 6 days events are way better than twitch drops.

Twitch drop pistols were cool though, I really want the Engraved Luger to this day.

I miss twitch drops too. The game and the twitch community always felt more lively when they are on.

Was thinking the same. We haven’t had twitch drops for a long time now.

I liked the concept of the twitch events. In combination with a new steam release, it would be a great marketing strategy.

They will need to make sure that the rewards arent like they were before, and actually worth it though (1 bronze order was feelsbadman)

I liked twitch drops. Could run it in the background with sound off while cooking. Didn’t require any grind.

Free stuff.

Twitch is cancer and can ruin many great game projects - luckily the devs do their own thing instead of listening to every demand spoken out on this forum, as seen with the many ninja patches the devs do.

However it is simply undeniable that Twitch still can be used for marketing and advertisement non the less.

Its a double edged sword…

Can someone explain to me how those would work?

You watch enlisted content from twitch and get free stuff by doing it

Edit: aww crap the edit system screwed with me and posted a reply in one thread as an edit in another thread.

well it been a long time now but i think it used to be like 4 hour max? eh maybe more i forgot i only participate 2 time since i come back to the game late (still since they are now reusing twitch stuff i want the german nickel pistol that i forgot the name of)

Yes, we sure “watched” :innocent:

Often as not it was at oh-dark-hundred in my part of the world - so I’d just set the computer to the channel, go to bed with an alarm set, wake up for 5 minutes to check all was in order then go back to bed… eg the War Thunder ones last couple of weekends were 0400 local…

When it was at a reasonable time I’d be playing something else with twitch volume set to minima - it didn’t work if you set it to mute!
