that’s fair though for the most part the tanks are the same as war thunder, skin wises, and the special skinned vehicles have the same model as in war thunder
Me neither! I hated SIm over there when it forced it as there wasn’t infantry to help with visibility. I didn’t feel right. I find it feels great here and really reduces tank/vehicle usage as there is a trade off in using one.
If they put third person here… Why wouldn’t you want to play a tank? It would then just be a buffed up Soldier.
I also think its not ,infantry game’’ as u suggesting. I know its major for units. But seriously most of the games tanks there are only for ppl to get points on them, i never consider them as a bigger threat. It just took one shot from my bazooka and its done. But it really is not my matter i just want to see it when i play it and again no i dont cosider it a bigger threat when u see around u are still heavily outnumbered by planes and troops around you.
in this game most weapons will kill or at least down someone with one shot to the upper body, this is also not battlefield and tank can be much harder to kill, so being stuck in first person view is a good way to keep tanks balanced with the infantry, if you want to see better outside, just select your TC and look out the hatch, just keep in mind that you can, and will get shot by infantry

Might I suggest that you wait until the devs create a replay system and then maybe you will be able to watch yourself in 3rd person to your hearts content.
That is of course if you really are only interested in watching things in 3rd person and not using it to get more kills …

Hell no to giving tanks third-person, and I’m saying this who mains tanks. It forces you to take the most basic precautions when tanking, in exchange for being immune to most forms of death being dealt out on the battlefield.
If you don’t enjoy tanking without third person, that’s a personal issue.
Thats really crappy idea. I still dont get why u think anybody would get more kills in 3rd person? U think i cant see people in 1st person or? I just dont get it i see same ppl i shoot at as in any other person. It wont change anything gameplaywise. U can shoot at 1 thing at a time and u have to aim for it - means turn turret and aim it. U think like what when i see little bit more around uam gonna shoot 3 squads at same time and nuke around me or? U ppl are really dumb sorry but there is not real purpous to creating advantage from this. U only cry because u are bad enought to get rekt by a single tank thats all…
If you can’t accept that tank “blindness” is their biggest dissadvantage when it comes to fighting infantry and taking it out would destroy the balance between them - then maybe Enlisted is not for you. Stop being rude and calling people bad only because your idea doesn’t fir the game.
Main weapon that infantry has is the detpack. When the tank is only in first person you can’t see infantry sneaking up to you with the detpack, so they can kill you. Third person view would give unfair advantage to tanks because they would see their whole surroundings, which means they would see infantry sneaking up and react to that. Or other tank coming up form the flank. Or someone building AT gun on the flank. That view would result in higher survivalability of tanks and that in more kills for them.
Your personal preference and will to “see the whole tank” is less important than keeping balance and fairness in the game.
Iam not calling them dumb because they wont accept my idea iam calling them idio.s because they think that tank can shoot more ppl at the same time in 3rd person wiev. U are outnumbered like what 15 to 2? And its rarely 2 tanks at the same time. Every unit has anti tank explosives, at least in my units. Now if u are the smart guy tell me one thing ok, just please be honest. When u are about to throw something at the tank or fire AT weapon at the tank is it for most of the time before u destroy it killing you A) The tank are about to destroy or B) otherinfantry units running around? Higher survivalability = possibility to get more kills. That is the problem. You don’t see that line of reasoning but rather call literally everone that doesn’t agree with you dumb and bad in the game.
And that mean nothing when a tank has “drone with camera” over his turret showing him exactly the whole surroundings. It can position itself on some field and be undestuctable for infantry because it will see them from far away and react. No sneaking up.
Yes, but you need to be close to the tank to throw them correctly. Again, no sneaking up to the tank that has turret turned to the other side, because it sees you anyway and goes away or turns to you.
No, it doesn’t kill me for most of the time. Because I come from the side that it cannot see me. With TPV it would be impossible.
I’m not. Its you who can’t accept that your point of view is wrong and provides unfair advantage, not “possibility to enjoy tank model”.

It is obvious that you can see more with third person, compared to the soda straw point of view of the gunner’s sight.
