Holy shit, I really expected the Germans to finally stop crying now they have the best tank by far. In hindsight I was just fooling myself offc.

You’re not wrong.

I’m starting to think that “campaigns” are not campaigns, like for example operation barbarossa, but war theaters spanning the duration of the war in the general area.

With this, the mkb42h would make sense, as it was fielded when germany got pushed back at some point.
Things like jumbo would also work if you take the general area of France…

I suppose some easy stupid tweak like removing the word “campaign” and putting instead a country (France, Russia…) would solve the historical gripe (well to some extent) most of us have.

They’ll never stop. Still seeing “nerf allies” and “allied bias” no matter what happens. Most of it is from the Normandy campaign which is a mess

It’s the campaign I play the least to be frank. Even Berlin seems not as bad nowadays. Tunisia feels like Moscow but in the desert, wich I truly love. Being bolt actions oriented, balance is fairly easy to achieve. Though Moscow got end game rather unbalanced weapons recently (ppsh41 vs bereta38 with 20 bullets, lol) (Mkb42h vs avs for sniper guys) I’m betting they try to compensate germany having a really bad smg by giving them the mkb (or the other way around, they gave a measly 20 bullet smg to germany BECAUSE they have the mkb?) Hopefully those being end lvl we won’t see too many of them and Moscow will remain a bolt action paradise.

But yet for some reason they understand the imbalance the KV-1 would create in Moscow and do not plan to introduce it there (yet).

Honestly, as I play the axis side of Normandy, we are completely overpowered and broken in every sense short of planes. I mean, we have a tiger which can obliterate every tank in Normandy with ease (except jumbo which is tricky due to armor, just shoot turret dome or machine gun port). I mean we are utterly broken. Even the Fw 190, considered trash by the community, is a powerful plane destroyer. I consider the Axis side of Normandy utterly broken (tho the p38 suicide bomber spam and the p47 rocket spam quite cruel, even allied players I convinced to try axis realized that their planes are broken). It would be fun to see the King Tiger, possibly as a “you get one per round” behemoth kind of deal, especially because I heard they made up like 50% of the tiger tanks in Normandy. maybe as simple as they take up both tank slots and have a 15 min cooldown or something. On another note, i agree that something must be done to reduce the fg42 and m2 carbine spam. I mean, and I am being a hypocrite here as I use the fg42, the German army used mostly K98k’s and very few even had Gewehrs. The m2 Carbine came out too late to be widespread or possibly even issued in Normandy. I also wish there was something to punish the p38 suicide bomber scumbags, they really just ruin the fun.

honestly i would like this idea, like maybe the side that is losing so bad (since we have this like confrontation now) would get a “behemoth” class of tanks to help turn the tide though if lost early on then your team is SOL
