I just got 60 bucks and I can’t decide whether I want the Colt Monitor or the Churchill, ik the Churchill is an explosive pack magnet but it seems like it could be a cool/useful tank to get, on the other hand ik the Colt Monitor could be useful to grind but I want a squad that historically accurate. I’m open to any suggestions.
Keep it and buy yourself something delicious. These squads don’t deserve it.

I love the Colt Monitor squad.
Even if I maxed out the campaign and could compose a stronger squad I still use it.
My AI in that squad are super responsive as well, you got a engineer too. The weapon is in one regard inferior to BAR imo since it not having an auto slow-selector.
On the other hand, it’s much lighter (6 compared to 10 kg) and has better recoil.
It will definitely help your grind.
Churchill, I wouldn’t touch that thing. Save your money!

Neither, take that $60, get a year of premium account, buy the elite battlepass, and save the extra 10. Or if you’re willing to wait a year (which I doubt), you can get premium account for $20/year instead of $40/year

If it was Churchill VII, god that’d be funny, but sadly it’s basically the worst variant we could’ve gotten. Only good for the armor, and even then

I have both, the colt is a good squad has engineer too, but mag size is very lacking imho, I think try it out in practice mode and see for yourself.
As for Churchill, heavy armoured, but quite slow moving, which can mean detpacks and TNT death if no infantry support, the tank can be one shotted by people who know weakpoint, the main gun is like the Matilda, it can kill but lacking pen against the axis main tanks, not bad for HE anti infantry support though. The machine gun BESA is pretty good too, as doesn’t overheat quite so quickly.
Not bad choices, if you don’t like planes and Normandy is main campaign.
I would recommend Colt, the Regulator is one of the best BAR variants you can get in the game, and the five soldiers equipped with full power automatic weapons are also very deadly under AI control. The Churchill is terrible by comparison, bulky, huge, anemic in firepower, and can be easily destroyed from the front by an experienced tanker in an Axis tank. If you want to buy an advanced tank squad for your Normandy American squad, choose the paid Jumbo, Firefly or Calliope.
Or, wait until May and buy the Colt squad discounted.
BTW their engineer can build the M2 Browning, right?

Only an experienced player will be able to show the result on it, and for the rest, the rocket launcher is a free frag, for everything that explodes a little
