Not really open. There’s a lot of cover.
I like some of the maps, except for the beaches. I remember that one of them I especially hate. But the rest are good. Lots of foliage with some urban fighting as well. A nice mix of everything.
I myself hate berlin maps. Just plain old cqc. And not even that. It’s long corridor cqc, the worst type of combat. It’s not intense close range combat and it doesn’t offer much in the way of flanking either. Just whoever spams the most detpacks. And if there’s stuff other than that, then just open, burnt, ground or ugly concrete. And the backround noise gets boring quickly.
Well, the axis literally get garbage until late game. Meanwhile the allies get good stuff form the beginning. So in the end, most players quit playing axis before they get anywhere, so you’re stuck with shit teammates.
Don’t forget that there’s a high chance of the tiger 1 being added to Tunisia too! (tiger debut was in Tunisia)
It being the absolute last addition to the the campaign (level 40) and if bazooka gets added this would work, because crusiers and crusaders can easily flank it so won’t be OP that much
Mmm, given the mostly open nature of maps in Tunisia, a Tiger (let alone two at once) would be a major pain in Allies’ butt; since an angled Tiger camping from afar would probably be impervious to anything Allies can throw at it from the ground and only vulnerable to air attacks.
PIAT-Bazooka attacks are only reliable up to so much distance, and right now I can’t think of anything the corresponding Allied campaign level could bring that can harm a Tiger from long range.
British 2-pounders would need to really sneak up into the Tiger’s pants, in order to stand a chance to damage it.
Jumbo and PZIV, need I say much
For me Moscow has the best balance of all. 748 battles for Allies, 67% winrate. 478 for Germans, 70% winrate. No other campaign is even close. Most fun for every side. I mostly play infantry, tanks occasionally, planes never.
