I tried with it. Didnt work with 50 bots so i went down to 20 and still didnt work. Even with 0 bots it doesnt work
Im just gonna give up making custom maps. I hate spending months of my time for this shit only for it to not work because devs are incompetent or dont care. Half of my maps stopped working after the recent update and im sure things are only gonna get worse
I used to do modding in racing games building tracks and race cars, but never with bots. However, if Dark Force cannot field competent bots in the main game we all play, I wouldn’t expect much when trying to mod them. If you can get competent bots, please teach Dark Force how to do it.
I cant edit the behaviour of the bots and i wasnt even planning to do that. I simply wanted to have normal bots in my slightly improved map of stalingrad but the dogshit servers of darkflow said no.
Instead of fixing these huge issues they are busy adding overpriced shiny premiums from warthunder
To be honest, with the crappy game play, crappy bots ect I am losing interest in playing. I played two nights ago and my bots were so bad I blew a head gasket cussing at my computer. So, I took off the past couple days as I just haven’t had the desire. This is kind of how I walked away from War Thunder, took a few days off here and there, then next thing I knew it had been a year since I played. I like Enlisted more then War Thunder, so I doubt I get that far away from the game, but DF is not doing anything to inspire me to keep playing. To save space on my computer, War thunder isn’t even installed anymore, so I will have to reinstall if I choose to play again.
My game mods are fast, when I start adding entities in the basic_box from entity menu. Then I gotta add other things in the properties of course: item, object, trigger, respawn, and other box or effect key words to build the entity in the property’s menu, with ai stuff before placing it on map correctly. Try entity menu and search (all) those key words seperately to add them into the basic_box properties template at bottom of properties box. Adding those option entites should eliminate the other free ai mapp bots to not hhone in on the navmesh type uneven object.
The object you place in the box with be more secure from navmesh ai activity. It’s like an apple on a box on the rough waving water compared to a box on two triangular navmesh. The ai knows what to do with the box faster an apple floating on the water.
