How to destroy a jumbo

The thing is, “weak spot” aiming is aids gameplay.
During CBT the best and most fun tank was the BT7, because it was fast and a glass canon.
It took skill to outmaneuver the enemy and get the first hit from where they aren’t looking at.

you shoot first, you win.
However now tanks can eat like 10 rounds before going down, and most of the time you even hit them “weak spots” but because of desync and bad hitboxes in general the enemy either goes down in one single shot or wont die what so ever.

The tank gameplay is extremely inconsistent and forgives mistakes way too much.
The tank that hits first should have the upper hand- consistently. Right now everything feels like bad RNG.

Also even during CBT the tank gameplay in the Moscow campaign was buggy, and lots of direct hits disappeared here and then (and still do btw) , however because of the faster reload times on early war tanks, these RNG missed shots didnt matter too much, cuz usually you could fire your second shot before the enemy responded.

Now compare that to the new T50, i swear i can blow up that tank with one single good cupola hit from my panzer IV, however usually it doesnt happen that way, and thats again the problem.

Or lets look at the Panther vs T34 85
The panthers front turret has a good enough surface to deal “consistent” dmg against it, the T34-85 hitbox however is a big mess, you need to hit small areas like the front of the turret, where its not angled, or between the turret and the hull. Oh and god forbit you shoot the bloody drivers hatch because that one must be having some kind of energy shield.

So this “inconsistency” is being doubled by slower reload times, which makes Normandy and Berlin just unplayable unless you straight up ignore armor and play infantry only – which is very much possible since the Panzerfaust is a better anti tank weapon than tank guns.

Ah and yea all of that also counts for Normandy.

I say as long as the game can not deliver a more consistent dmg model, we should go back to the “glass canon gameplay” we had during Moscow CBT.

Risk free *Chuckles in Panzer 4 from an elevated position, flanking Puma and Ju-“i’ll anhilate your bloodline 88”
Never had issue with delaing with the Jumbo it was not OP just what the allies needed to be able to push

Except it deletes infantry better than the German counterpart. Which is way more important because that guy who’s doing something else with one hand camping in the gray zone in a Jumbo farming random Axis players who are not on the objective is arguably railing his whole team actually. German wannabe-shroud players who are rushing out hoping to get 700 kills/minute are usually not going to play the objective. Farming them with that Jumbo is only going to force them towards the objective causing stronger resistance for the Allies who are likely nowhere near the objective either. Being top of the leaderboard while also being partly responsible for your team’s downfall will only reinforce their belief that they are doing something right when in reality, they aren’t. That Jumbo player could’ve carried the whole team with 1 other competent player if he kept the capture zone clear while the other one captures, but he decided to be a K/D warrior.

oh no guys it has a bit betetr reload, and? PZ III N is way better anti infantry if you gonna go down that route, you are spewing BS
Germany has:
MG-34/42
FG-42 for everyone
STG-44 (literal assault rifle)
Ju-88
Maps in it’s favor full bunkers with Mg-42s and all you need 1-2 a half competent players to beat the shit out of the US

“But no guys the Americans having a tank that can take hits and does has an inferior AT armament is a deal breaker cause slightly better at killing infantry”

Your reasoning is heading to “Gewher 43 OP cause 2 more rounds than Garand” when it comes into your complaints against the Jumbo and by that reasoning M4 is also OP and Germany need somehtign better than the PZ IV J
