That is the OG-43 (top) and OG-44 (bottom), and both are SMGs chambered in 9×19mm parabellum. The only differences between the two are the stock, grip, and trigger position. The OG-43 and OG-44 are among a handful of SMGs produced as a last ditch effort by the Italian Social Republic for fighting in the civil war in Northern Italy. Other such guns are the FNAB-43, TZ-45, and Isotta Fraschini. Therefore none of them are suitable in any in-game campaign historically speaking, but seeing as we already have the FNAB-43, whatever. Anyway, the OG-43 would not really bring anything new as its performance is comparable to the Beretta SMGs, though it would be nice to see as a battle pass weapon. If you want an automatic rifle, there is the Cei-Rigotti and Breda PG. The Cei-Rigotti was an early automatic rifle developed in the 1890s. While never adopted, it was extensively tested by Italy before WWI. More probable, however, is the Breda PG. It was a rifle with a 20 rnd magazine which was used by Italian special forces as well as Costa Rica. The Italian version was semi-auto only.
Edit: Other sources say the Breda PG never saw combat.
Yeah, just gonna ignore the fact that axis have the Bf 110 G-2, Me 410 A-1/U2, Fw 190 A-8, and Ju 188 A-2. All of which are perfectly capable at taking down enemy planes (well, Ju 188 A-2’s gunners can be hit or miss) and are laced with explosives.
JU188 was un armed long ago just added AI I gess 5 or 6 months ago from what im told. As for shoting plans down and anti infrentry thats barly all ther good for. Except one isue. JU188s guns shots plains down do much better then 109s and FW. and ther all the same gun types. So ther seems to be a problem with the 109s and FW. As for ainti ground they suck and barly no one uses them. its like flying around in a 109G10 and not doing any thing. As for alies all thers can kill a tank or wipe squads apon squads of trops. Only one that even comes close to the P47 is the 188 and even then the P47 has more ammo to shot. while all Axis have to go rearm after one shot regardless if ther good at fighting plains or not they cant do much else to help the team.
Thers not one alied plan that has noting but guns on it and it would be nice if the BF110 could fly with the JU188 like the P38 and P47 even P38 with the A 20 lol As I been saying no one uses the 109s nore the FW.
Hell Even I rather dog fight with the Ju188 then fly any other… lol I bet youll find more BF110s or JU188s flying in replays with out a 109 or FW in almost ever game. Out of all the games ive playd since rank reset I know of 4 games ive had a 109 or FW with me so far maybe 5
The only shure way to kill tanks in a plan is JU188s and all alied plans. Maybe youll get lucky with 109s 4 50k bombs but rest forget it. Would be nice if the 37mm worked on tanks
make that 6 games
I actually would like to see some more things added, but have them stick to the Italians, which IMO is what makes the campaign more unique.
My Number 1 Pick: The Breda PG (M1935)
- Think Italian Federov Avtomat
Secondly: The Carro Armato P26-40 Tank with 75mm Cannon

- You could also argue to the prototype P43, but the P26 at least got off the assembly lines sort of speak, even if it was only used by the Germans. It was made by the Italians.

The Italian models of the Breda PG were only semi-auto. Burst-fire was only available on the Costa Rican versions, and Costa Rica did not take part in the Second World War. IMO the semi-auto version should be in the progression, and the one with burst mode could be a gold order weapon. The counterpart could be the Howell automatic rifle, which is in a similar case to the Breda PG as it was not widely used, if at all.
Easy add match maker to this game, it would solve problem.
