i see sometimes Players ( in Scout Plane, Dive Bomber or Bombers ) which fly Loops or turn with Super Speed.
While my Plane cant do that > when i follow them - then my Engine goes off and i crash in a Tree :/.
Does someone know how some Players do that? Is here a Trick for that? ( i just play with the Mouse atm )
While I’m not great at flying planes, I have been able to out-turn a lot of opponents when I do fly in game through a combination of manual elevator controls on the keyboard, as well as manual engine speed control with the mouse wheel.
I’ve found that mouse alone isn’t enough to competently use a plane in Enlisted, and without the above, I just crash into the ground in general far too often, myself.
I don’t 'use the ctrl wheel but that’s a good idea!
Otherwise keyboard WASD for flight + mouse has been good enough - I usually fly full throttle as default - only slowing down to try to prevent overtaking.
The trick is combat flaps and giving the rudder a boot at the right angle to turn sharper. Can also shorten turn circle by doing the turn in the vertical plane as well as horizontal.
Use your keyboard for maneuvers, always use combat flaps (during a maneuver) and if you’re trying to turn sharply set your throttle between 50-70. Think of it as a car, you have to slow down a bit to effectively take a turn.
thx for your replys Guys. The Speed thing really helped - now im bit better in Dogfights was able to survive against 2 Enemy Planes and destroyed 1 of them ( Nr 2 taked 100 shoots and destroyed me then )
What do you Guys mean with Combat Flaps?
Maybe im blind or so - but > i can switch only between : Landing Flaps and “normal” one ( Flaps UP )
