Because BR4’s opponents will be Black Panther and Tiger H1, APCR should be added to KV-1 (ZiS-5) to enable it to effectively counterattack.

It would makes sense to do this, 75mm of armor isnt really all that impressive for BR4 - though It can be an interesting alternative to the 85mm T34s that have only 45mm of frontal armor.
So with APCR this KV1 would function as a penetration vs damage potential trade off compared to T34 85s.
that being said, IS 1 can potentially also be moved into BR4, since it is basically only a T34 85 with a bit better armor.
all that being said, the mentioned extra armor for that KV1 sounds interesting though, so who knows how it will actually perform.
