Started to look some old screenshots from 2021 April.
I been thinking for while now that Enlisted used to look better but got into senses that its only feeling and did not think much about it.
But now… I’m not so sure.

Been playing on Ultra and now having even more beefier gpu to get 144fps locked at all times.

I don’t see a relevant difference imho. But everything is possible.
The SSs barely look different in terms of graphic though the later one has better uniforms.
But overall, graphic is worse ingame and I guess its because of older console gens.
I did not say it but now that you bring it up.

Don’t worry, the graphics in this game get improved/made more efficient around every 6 months, so overall they should improve.
Expecting very good graphics in f2p game is kinda naive. It would counterproductive. Since majority of f2p players are playing this game only because it’s free in the first place. Mostly kids etc. They don’t have a good hardware. It’s that simple.
Plus I don’t think enlisted has bad graphics for f2p, its quite decent.
But I get it, obsession with awesome graphics is modern standard.

Not like since CBT end, game looks more cartoonish and less gory and cheaper.
But I guess its just coincidence.
Well. You saw what the graphic used to look like.
There are differences between something we want and something we already had and was better.
And all that because of people who cant afford a PS5.
I mean, we used to be able to collect perk reroll credits but the devs remove it for no real reason.
It’s quite common games looks better before they get released. It’s not like enlisted is the only game that look good and devs just randomly fucked up.
The game “technically” never was released and even in OBT it looked better before the devs started to hit the console market.
At the end, its really just those old gen consoles.
Also the game started to lag for me after a certain patch and make my puny laptop go red hot, it was fine before that patch, and any other game works fine, like WT on high graphics, while Enlisted manages to suffer from fps drops in 2023, it is not only my issue either.
I remember the older Enlisted having better graphics and much more optimized back in 2021 compared to now

my conclusion is that the graphics have been definitely downgraded. I can’t get this game to look like this anymore even i’m using RTX 4070 TI and everything is maxed at 1440p with same old monitor with same 2560 x 1440 resolution. Real photos look even better than the uploaded images
This game runs on potato and someone have decided to downgrade the graphics secretly. Used to have old ass Vega 64 and it ran without problems
This sucks really because nowdays Enlisted is bit ugly. Company priority is to keep console boys happy. Pretty sure PC Players are still the largest income but their graphics are downgraded to trash tier.
And it manages to drop your fps on squad selection screen somehow, yey, even though it was fixed in recent patch, that just shows.
Oh thank god I am not the only one with this issue.
ya its insane that they cant manage to downgrade for console but not pc, how hard is it to separate -_-
very hard. experience and visibility must be the same no matter the graphic setting or platform. so that usually means downgrading everyone experience if you want to support older gpus/consoles.
they dont HAVE to be the same though
