USA is missing a crucial weapon the US had doring WWII and Korea. A BAR 1918A2 where they had the muzzle break and bipods removed. Some people evan cut the barrells down. Behold the 1932 USMC BAR M1918 Jungle, or Jungle BAR; looks like an A1 modified to 15"'s
Seriously though. It is a huge problem. Soilders took all the excess weight off their weapons before going into battle.
There are no bipods for BAR 1918’s in any of these photos…
" Some U.S. Army BAR gunners and nearly all of the Marine gunners in the Pacific Theater discarded the M1918A2’s bipod and flash hider to save weight and improve portability. With these modifications, the BAR effectively reverted to its original role as a portable automatic rifle. Marines in the Pacific battles frequently positioned a BAR operator at the front or rear of a patrol or infantry column where he could help break contact on a jungle trail in the event of an ambush.

That’s what they did with it. War In Nicaragua is considered a special operation and USMC were special forces for the Navy. PPSh Obrez isn’t a shotgun either. Technically this is a scatter gun and would fit perfectly.
I would love to see DF add the Jungle BAR, however, if they did, they would most likely offer it as a “special premium squad” overly priced at 5,000 gold, and it would never be a tech tree item. They would also screw it up by placing it in a BR rating it doesn’t belong. I’m still waiting for DF to add a 40 round mag to the BAR and sell a premium level 5 squad. which, once again, would be hugely overly priced.
I agree, but like I said, the french guerillas can equip M2 carbines and T20 rifles because USA bias or something stupid. The bridge is crossed so we might as well let guerillas use FG42s and AVTs to keep things consistent and fair for every faction
No. this doesn’t have a pistol grip and has only a 15" barrell. It looks like the piston is shorter to so that would mean higher rate of fire on the short stroke piston. I am not that technical so I don’t know what the decreeased pressure would have do to shorter barrell, but I assume it would have a higher rate of fire.
