With the implementation of the new commando (guerrilla is a dumb name) class, come “new” stealthy gameplay, flanking now takes a very literal meaning.
But the class would only come to perfection with silenced weaponry.
There used to be in gold order shop silenced weapons and lucky players such as I could buy 4 silenced smgs for every faction (except for Japan… ).

Silenced Erma EMP with silenced Czech pistols.

I propose the return of those silenced gold order smgs in shop, for a limited time!
Side note: we have event shrubbery men for axis and SAS guys for allies. They are literal commandos but don’t benefit from the mechanics. I understand due to the squad composition they would be op but… cool at the same time

Yeah, it’s nothing new. Medic squad, premium squads, event squads, 4 assaulters + 1 medic in assaulter squad.
All of them are made of 5 men. This 4 weapon limitation was pissing me for quite some time already.
But whatever, after deliberate and shameless change to G43K, I won’t buy GO weapon for golds ever again.

You’re right, we’re not spending time and money on buying sports cars for Darkflow. We hope to see this game improve instead of getting worse. Maybe we should change the guerrilla team to a scout, so that we can launch many historical units such as Pathfinder, Brandenburg, Osnaz, etc. I hope our love for the game is worth it
I mean, elite volksturm commando is also stupid.
Somehow devs managed to combine absolutely best, elite troops with absolutely worst, ragged militia. So no mater what name you chose, it’s wrong because those soldiers don’t have much in common.
I’m honestly impressed by the nonsense they pulled off here.
You can remove the scope I think. But yes, it’s the worst sniper in game because it can’t even DOWN a soldier at sniper range… and the bullet drop A LOT and has very slow velocity.
I mean tbf its not that much of a stretch, and there were certainly more elite or “elite” troops mixed into the volksturm. And since most other squads that will be added to that class will be commandos/equivalent or formations that in theory could have a commando element in more civilian clothing it certainly checks out. Like a french partisan unit you could pretend were SOE agents or similar.
Ive seen a few excerpts of veteran troops being assigned to volksturm units. Though often they would fall into a training and command element instead of an elite squad, there are exceptions to the rule.
Generally it was just dumb to add a volksturm unit instead of the literally countless possible commando units that would have fit better instead. So on that point I agree completely, but what’s done, is done now.
