Glitched recoil pattern on MG42 on Stalingrad?

Hello comrades.

So i have noticed that the recoil pattern on the MG42 is different on the practice mode than it is in the actual campaign. On the practice mode the recoil pattern recoils upwards however the one from the normal campaign recoils downwards and too the right.

Is this normal ? is the MG42 and the other German lmgs meant to have a upwards recoil pattern like the MG42 does on the practice mode range ?

is a bug, the mg42 you see in training works without draining the stamina (so it’s normal), so the mg42 you use during battles, for some reason has the reverse 180° recoil because it takes away the stamina while you use it, this shows you how the game is tested before being updated :upside_down_face:

ahh okay thank you

So it is a bug >w>

The reworked recoil i don’t mind but the stamina drain is unnecessary

Yes sadly >w> if they keep pushing unfinished shit on top of more unfinished shit it will kill the player base.

Pretty sure the intended behavior is for the guns to have the unusual sideways recoil and stamina drain, so the bug is just that the MG42 in the practice range behaves differently (with no stamina and an upwards recoil) from how it does in normal stalingrad play. Not a particularly significant bug, and I can see how they missed it.

For the stamina drain, just go prone and actually mount the weapon. They have actually meaningfully improved the reliability of that system over time, so while its not perfect, its a good bit better than it used to be. And, it has finally made LMGs not the massively overbearing assault weapons they have been for the longest time.
