The 88 gun truck should have two functions: tank gun mode and mortar mode
But in order to prevent him from becoming a killer who specializes in dealing with idiots, the mortar mode needs to be slightly weakened.
Plan A
The reload time of HE shells on the mortar mode downloader will be increased to 25 seconds and the drop time will remain at 7 seconds.
The reload time of armor-piercing rounds is the same as in tank mode to ensure that armor-piercing rounds have a higher chance of penetrating a tank.
Plan B
Extend the cooldown time of supplies to 5 minutes to directly block their continuous firepower.
20 rounds of each of 2 types, 5 rounds per second = 100 seconds
After using these 20 rounds of high-explosive bombs, there is still a 200-second supply cooling time.
This is enough for most players to save their shells rather than waste them on a single location in a short period of time.

In this way, the 88 gun truck is not a killer targeting idiots, but a fixed target killer that highly relies on friendly forces for guidance marking or the player’s judgment ability.

Some people may think that ammunition is reloaded too quickly
But anyone who has played mortars knows that the landing point of the shells is almost random.
Even if you clearly mark the enemy vehicle or location, there is still a considerable chance that the mortar will be seriously biased.
They will also inherit this major flaw in mortar mode
So you almost don’t have to worry about this thing killing you every time (unless you have really bad luck)

The supply cooldown time is adjusted according to the number and power of rockets of each rocket vehicle.
The supply cooldown of Soviet and German rocket vehicles is 2 minutes (because their ammunition is very small, the result is no different from communication bombardment)
The supply cooldown of T34 is 4 minutes (1 minute of pleasure, 3 minutes of pain)

i dont think 88s were used as artillery or mortar?.. there are some tanks featuring 75 mm and 105 mm howtizers they can play role of mobile artillry. if devs introduce artillery mode then it will be cool
and same for german and soviet rocket launchers
