Nice shifting the goal posts - I was opposed to giving them resupply - not to them having more ammo.
If you can’t tell the difference between giving them pretty much unlimited ammo by supply crates and increasing their limited and unrenewable initial ammo supply then I’m surprised you have enough brains to keep breathing.

If you can’t tell that devs can modify how much ammo every gun uses from supply crate (We have the exact same thing with MORTARS) then you have no idea how programming works.

The AA vs Infantry 0 deserves it, it would be nice to consider a scoring overhaul if the bots killed by AA halved.
99% of my partys, those who play AA in my team use AA to kill players / bots, 0 aerial support, while we are being killed by the air force. to motivate the players to play useful and not to play sapper to kill bots, it would be necessary to increase the sappers score if plane killed by an AA
When an AA inflicts damage on a plane, if the player in the plane gets killed by another, or crashes, or commits suicide, the player who used AA against him should have a score bonus that hit him, which is not the case
it’s not a realistic game so putting 20 shots on it doesn’t make sense. however, if the AA player could passively win only if he hits planes, a bonus to dismantle and reassemble an AA faster would make more sense.

Yeah using them vs infantry is certainly an issue - they WERE used against infantry AFAIK - but only when mounted on a tank chassis in limited circumstances - normally they woupld be nowhere near front lines unless SPAA.
Yes even an assist would be nice - played AA vs a/c last coule of days and got nyumerous hits only to get no rewards.
IIt makes sense from a pov of making AA more useful vs a/c - in conjunction with some sort of changes making it less useful vs infantry. “realism” is the reason for it - jsut an added bonus.

Apparenly it’s rate of traverse was 7.5 or 22.5 degrees per turn of a handwheel (2-speed obviously) - I don’t know what it is in game but that would be about 3.5 turns to do 90 degrees - which I’d suggest a motivated gunner could do in a couple of seconds or less??
Why bother?
Traverse is slow as shit.
Spend 10 minutes looking for a spot with good fields of fire where I wont get artied/shot out of my AA.
Spend another 10 minutes searching for aircraft.
Planes are flying tanks now.
Have limited ammo so I can’t effectively kill flying tanks.
People I’m shooting down kamikaze and kill half the entire team regardless.
Planes are fucking awful in this game.
Guys on AA should even get exp if enemy makes a suicide run. It’s not your fault that they are doing it wrong, but you are there doing your job and keeping the other players relatively safe.
Let’s call it “AA in being”.
Also, they should put AI AA guns around plane spawn points. Plane spawn camping is on the rise and this behavior should not be encouraged.
