Get rid of the aiming reticle for planes

That doesn’t mean it was good from the start lol. Just because it’s in the game or it is how it was when it first came out means all of the sudden it’s justified.

So who give you the power to decide what is justified and what is the bare minimum?
Why don’t you go to the battlefield game forum and told them the same thing (Realistic should be bare minimum, if you want arcade go play Heroes & Generals or COD.)?

I’d like the lead indicator to be gone too. Or maybe it could be a very expensive yellow t3 perk, so you’d have to decide between it and the longer distance spotting one. The first pilot you get in the fighter squad could start with that perk selected to make it easier for new players. Would make flying more interesting to me.

Similar to the armor indicator combined with the tank spotting markers following the target. I noticed the last few matches I played that I usually don’t even see the enemy tank if my team is good at spotting. I just shoot at markers and the enemy can do nothing. Sometimes even through wooden houses.

Tank indicators not following tanks would also have the benefit of making it more difficult for air to ground planes to get rid of them.

Brother, I usually can literally make enemies stop spawning airplanes, because they just can’t beat me. Half the time I’m able to win against AA (if they miss the initial shots)

You really think it would be a nerf for me? And not make it literally unplayable for anyone who isn’t already a WT neet?

I call bullshit on you, your own tracers are barely visible rather quickly, against low contrast bright sky

Then don’t show it so far away, at huge angles and when enemy plane is obscured, easy

Also, if you know what you’re doing, the physics of shooting are still the same - in those cases you can usually dodge it easily anyway

It should be kept. There’s no point in making plane to plane encounters last longer.
Planes should be focusing on ground support primarily, otherwise they’re completely useless soloists which do not contribute to victory in any way.

…what are you even responding to…

conveniently dropped the 50 meters part I see.

…well apparently you are unbeatable with barely any war thunder played, so how hard can it be?

Hm wonder what my WT stat look like

Maybe put the heading sign in a perks system so that if you have the skills you can save it for other buffs

Your suggestion is equivalent to adding a line of text to the game’s login interface:
Players who have not played War Thunder should get out of this game!

Why don’t you join the army if you like reality so much? The army is real enough

Finally, if you like War Thunder so much, why don’t you stay in War Thunder and go to Enlisted to ask for it to be like War Thunder?
Yes, I know this game has a lot of War Thunder elements, but this does not mean it is a 100% replica. Enlisted players are not 100% War Thunder players.

This game also has a lot of Cuisine Royale elements, should we add a battle royale mode?

I’ve haven’t played war thunder basically back in 2015, with some relapses here and there lol

I’ve gotten actually decent at flying planes in Enlisted, to the point that, when I reinstalled WT (and now they actually have an Enlisted control scheme preset by default when you had Enlisted installed first lol)
I was actually able to win some fights

It was a bit of a slog to get to where I am with flying in Enlisted - I started like almost everyone, just overcooking and crashing, because I’d pull up too late. I’d be doing uncoordinated turns, pissing away all my energy, flying so poorly I’d have the P-47 barely afloat in the air after 3 turns. I’d only fight in horizontal turns, no matter what airplane. I’d piss away all my ammo at stupidly long range, not hitting anything. I’d just get awful, useless hits on non-vital parts. I’d be aim assist slave. Didn’t even realise you could free look. I’d miss all my rockets and bombs.
Then I’d git good. I never stopped trying fighting enemies stronger than me, even if that meant I’d feed them 10 planes. I’d read up a little bit on theory. I’d just spam planes any time I got the chance.
And now I often find I’m already aiming pretty close to where the lead indicator will show up anyway.
So again, it’s not a nerf for me.
I’ve posted a video on this forum, where I rack up a ton of air kills in one game

Most of those are actual player vehicles, I stopped bothering with para/bombing runs a long time ago, since pilot score gives you almost no silver anyway

Does it matter? Obviously I pulled the number out of my ass, instead of just saying “you can’t see them way too soon”

They last roughly around 1s…
Also, just realised, with how the pilot camera is positioned in the plane, you literally cannot see most of your tracers anyway, because almost any maneuver has you pitching up and leaves them immediately obscured by the nose of the plane

Also, when I’m actually watching the video at full speed, I can barely see the damn tracers against the yellow sand anyway

EDIT: People clamoring for removing the indicator don’t seem to have thought it through at all
Damn AA is almost extinct as it is currently anyway. Biplanes/Zeros/Spitfires and the likes will literally become unbeatable
None of the new players will win a single fight. Tankers will cry and whine (and then we’ll get on the nerf treadmill, cause “planes are unstoppable”)
And for what?

Already have paratroopers in. Turning the /9 into a battlebus shouldn’t be too hard. Strap it under some of the cable blimps and call it a day xD

EDIT: Obviously powered by the V-1, with it’s characteristic cracling pulsejet

That was my point…You don’t need to have played War thunder to pick up planes in Enlisted. As you said, you didn’t.

refering to this

And new players are going to get wrecked regardless. Whether it’s by players that have learned in war thunder, or players who have learned in Enlisted. that’s just how it is, and the nature of learning anything

I did, because I had the damn leading indicator to help me out. And the game was relatively new and full of inexperienced people too. Nowadays it would just be a slaughter
