Germany need BR III tech tree semi auto SNIPER rifle, perhaps it's the SNIPER Selbstladegewehr 258(r)?

I guess PPsh Obrez and PPS-42 do not exist

Technically, that thing is a Croatian modification from the Balkan Wars.

THIS. Using BR IV Gewehr 43 is pain especially when you get uptiered to BR V where everyone use prototype bullshit gun and some people just really don’t want to partake in that hell hole of a BR.

I guess what he meant is TT captured weapon. US have German weapon, Soviet have US and German weapon, even Japanese have US weapon.

I did a fair amount of research on semi-auto sniper rifles for BR3 Axis and found that the options are limited.
It will either be a captured gun like sniper Garand or SVT-38, now the sniper garand would be fair now that US has panzerschrek but still not ideal.
However there are some rare Gewehr41s with better scopes that could be added
A very rare G41 with the same scope as StG44,G43 and FG42.

Also I found this:
A even more unique G41 with an Austrian scope, I have no idea how many of these were made, it seems like a “field modification” that was carried out unofficially.

Sniper Gewehr 41 is the most ideal, but i bet it’ll never happen because they have premium one

Considering that we have sniper stg and mkb with only the scope being noticiably different, it is not out of the question.
I will include these in a suggestion later.
I also plan on suggesting something for USSR.

would love it as long as they used 4x or less magnification for any german semi-auto sniper rifles.

It gotta be one of these if they’re really intend to add. Otherwise the feeling of Ofrenrohr in US TT will haunt us again.

Your 10% less damage results in double “rounds to kill”

numbers can be misleading

Plus mp 41(r) and mp 717 (r)

Well, I would actually love to see a Mannlicher Sniper rifle - and if the reload and cycling is fast enough, I can see it being worth it for BR3.

Why overthinking it just add G41(M) with scope (Sniper gewehr 41 is G41(w) with scope)
I mean if they added scope to walther model , they had to add scope to G41(M), too
So yeah

(G41(M) with scope , I know I dont have full picture but thats G41(m) , for anyone wondering how that’s G41(M) , the bolt gives it away (W) model didnt have that bolt and fun thing bolt was added so when gun doesn’t work in semi-auto you can shoot manually and thats the same scope as g41 sniper )

Event gun.

No longer available/removed.

Did they even captured scoped Garands though?

I’ve given up on snipers.
Infantry with 2 grenade launchers is much more useful than snipers
If I want to snipe the enemy, I just need to adjust the field of view to the minimum.

I didn’t find any pictures of German soldiers with scoped M1 garand or a specific designation for scoped M1 garands, but given the amount of captured M1 garands, they have surely captured some of them.

Scoped Garands were very rare and not a thing until mid-late 1944. I think the C only had 7 or 8k units, the D even less.

Well I do bring Kar98 into BR5 matches from time to time, with small FOV having one or two in your squad is a great sniper soft counter.
