Yes we did, to counter PPS-42/43 that is superior to even mp40, but now at least the gap is much closer than with garbage fnab.
Player issue not gear issue. So stop making those useless threads. If they nerf Axis then they will be even worse than the Japanese. And guess what people will either keep playing them or start playing most overpowered nation which is Soviet that got so overbuffed that with 4 competent people you could win any match against 10 players.
PS Soviets still have glitched Paras that can take BR5 weapons into BR2 matches, and if that can’t encourage people to play Soviets at BR2 and BR5 then nothing will it’s a lost cause. Americans are played by people but general population is low skilled.

germany needs no nerf
once you actually understand the game mechanics you quickly realize that there are 4 categories of weapons, bolt, semi, mg and smg
and the only real noticeable difference between weapons in their category is mag size and sight picture
that’s why BR1 guns still stack bodies in BR 5 games

im not entirely sure 3 matches is a big enough sample to draw such conclusions, but hey whatever. i have a 100% win rate with japan with 1 match played, i dont think its enough ground to claim “japan OP”

Allow me to show you a bit more of my past with Germany in enlisted.
Pre merge Germany was insanely strong, And had tons of players, Berlin was their bot farm, Moscow was for a long while equally matched until the FED, MKB, showed up, Then it became a one sided battle for who ever had those weapons.
Germany in the past was insanely strong with the weapon choices it had, Post merge Germany is still insanely strong, MP-40 wasn’t needed, MP-38 wasn’t needed.
If you think the PPS-43, and PPS-42 are strong, The FNAB, MP-3008, Beretta M38 (20 rounder) are all equally good counters to it, The PPS-43 tends to get bodied by those guns as long as your using it smart.
Imo, The PPS-43 should have gone up to T3, The MP-40 and MP-38 should have stayed B.R 3
The allies are also feeling the pain of this change, As the M3A1 is no where near the power of the MP-40, And the Owen gun is a hipfire beast.

your team sucked hard. i have the same experience with soviet teams.
zero teamwork and zero rally points. the mp40 doesnt make any difference in that regard, its sadly the horrible player quality on soviet and american side atm.

I concur. As I played Soviets yesterday, we lost not because Germany had big bad mp40, in fact they used almost none.
We lost because our team was allergic to cap zones and all larped as Zaitsev.
Battle rating is Battle rating. It cannot or rather should not be tweaked to boost or nerf a faction. It should only be used to put similarly powerful stuff, on same tiers.
Who says the situation won’t revert? Who says USA won’t dominate when Pershing is released, because everyone switch to the faction?
Incentives to play underdog factions, like silver bonus or whatnot, should be used instead.

Hopefully the reinforcement ticket balancing gets removed and it becomes truly like for like.
The few games ive lost on soviets (BR 2) had nothing to do with weaponry, just the basics being ignored (build rallies, take down, rallies, get on point)

It’s not abour what Germany needed or not. It’s about equipment balance.
The reason why Germany won some match in BR 1-3 queue really isnt superior equipment.
There are better way to support allies. For example stop with shenanigans related ro ticket/cap speed “balance”.

eh with the shitty economy this game has, broke ass new player can only dedicated to one faction or none at all, plus steam rolling effect so you just get much more out of Germany by shear of winning more, I wouldn’t blame them, I would play germany too because they are the more enjoyable side with more players, maybe that new person start out with USA but after getting fuck several round by german vets in tunisia, they would get frustrated and either quit or join the German steam rollers too to get more silver and a more enjoyable grind, so all the decently good players all switch to Germany, why carry bad team against 10 other axis vets when you can have it easy riding the steam roller while still grinding out good guns.
So they all join Germany, because there is no reason to play other factions unless you are a masochist or insane, and the remaining allie players are probably all insane sub zero iq anyway if they still haven’t switch side.
No amount of contents will fix this because everyone is broke af and no silver and time to commit to grinding another faction, especially said faction is underpopulated and outskilled, and you earn more and literally rewarded by the game for playing the top dog germany and avoiding losings factions, they could easily boost player count for said faction if they give them 2x grind rate 2x silver earling for Allie and Soviet or at least some kind of incentives to better survive in the new shitty grind fest economy, and you will see competent players in those faction blow up, too bad df is too greedy to add an incentive to play underdog so the problem will only get worse with Germany continue to pick up any competent players that have a brain that understand Germany is the easiest and most profitable, while Western Allie and Soviet get the scraps of sub zero IQ players.

I agree entirely. if “free”" versions of the thompson are all BR 3 then the MP40 should as well

This is why I just stopped playing the soviets, 4 games in a ROW without a single win, That is a perfect gage of Enlisted’s soviet vs German teams.
Everyone’s playing the Germans with few on the soviets, And with the soviets trying to regain people it feels near impossible to win, So when you combine all that together: People will see they get wiped by the Germans and go to the germans to get easy XP and time, And one day that’s going to come back to bite the Germans.
If shit like this keeps up, I can foresee it taking upwards of 40 minutes to find a game just for you guys to wipe out and repeat.

It’s funny that you act like if the phenomenon was anything new.
Don’t remember Tunisia? Allies dominated for a while, then after one, single event, axis came back and the situation did a 180.
Was there any equipment change or “br change”? Not at all. Just a fancy new event.
Same thing with Pacific.
Or with Berlin. Axis lost every match when it first released. Then it 180 and became the opposite.
What about Normandy?

So nothing new. I’ll make a prediction for you, and an easy one: when Pershings are released, watch as the majority of the population switch from axis to allies.
What could be done, again, is to normalize all tickets for all factions, and give bonus rewards for playing underdog factions.

Same as me, I even suggested adding lend-leased guns to USSR to fill BR2, but downtiering MP38/40 was more requested thus democracy prevailed.
