to be honest, i finished both sides on normandy campaign, and i do feel US its more powerfull/fun/rewarding to play.
but, to be honest, once i finished axis side months ago, i didnt touched them for a long long time.
p47, its probably the best plane right now to farm kills, i agree with you. to a point, that isnt even fun to play with. kills feel cheap.
and i, personaly , find Fg42 overated for what it is ingame… but mileage may vary, since i find other weapons more capable to deal the same outcome…
either way, constant nerf this buff this threads will apear everyday or so, just disregard them and or , provide your input into them, may change some peoples mind about it.
thats the beauty of this game in my eyes, i dont enjoy simetrical balanced red vs blue games. and ofc you cant never balance it. or hope to do so. there will be always someone, complaining about something.
if they even removed the planes, threads about removing tanks would emerge. and so on… to be honest, i m surprised that people are upset about planes, when tanks deal more kills per minute/xp on an agressive gameplay…
I’ve never been to the game forums, but I’ve gotten the feeling that whining can really be heard here. I don’t think it’s a conspiracy of developers against the Axis or vice versa Allies, as many do. However, I do wish for an improvement in overall gameplay:
Adequate tank duels without pixel hunting.
Convenient weapons for everyone.
Logical and balanced maps
The ability to destroy planes (best option, additional fighter slot)
I’m not asking for myself, as many hypocrites, I want to make everyone more comfortable. But every day I come across comments “Dude you’re just weak, I can easily target those 2 pixel jumbo” and then I see a video from this guy where he can’t hit a standing Pz. Lol, I’m already doing 200-240 kills regularly, I play better than almost everyone I meet in games and am arrogantly offered to learn.
I’m only advocating now to protect the forum from complete absurdity, like “jumbo is weak, needs reinforcement”, “how to beat ju”.
I was glad to see an adequate person in your face that talks, because I constantly meet people that are like monkeys insulting, although they have a cultural dialogue with them.
I completely agree that people overestimate the FG-42. It’s a great weapon, no one disputes, but it can’t throw missiles at an entire team, and an infantryman with it still dies from a single rifle hit.
I personally love the MP-35\I and play with it a lot, even though a lot of people think it’s terrible. The funny thing is that my results say it isn’t.
