hi ive been playing this game for a few weeks now and im loving it, but i logged in today and the first game i tried i got kicked for “anticheat reasons” so i relaunched the game like it asked me to do and tried again. my next game was the same map again so i ran the same path i ran before hand and pretty much at the exact same point the same thing happened.
this only thing i changed on this play through was i launched the game through steam as a “non-steam game” could this be enough to make the game freak out?

see i knew this would happen. people cant just be helpful. ive never hacked in a video game and i never will. i wouldnt be openly putting this message up if i was cheating
i really dont get it happens at the same point every match. nothing has changed on my pc

could it be that im running it through steam straight from the Win64 file in enlisted’s directory?
yep i figured it out. so you have to run the launcher through steam so it triggers easy anticheat didnt realise that. the only problem is when you get to the main menu steam no longer recognises that you’re playing the game so its pointless. i thought i’d be clever and try running it straight from the win64 files EXE so that it would always say im on the game. but obviously then the games anti-cheat doesnt boot up
Why are you so insistent on running through Steam? Just use the launcher I don’t understand.

Might be the steam launching that is setting off the anticheat. Just use the normal launcher till they put it on steam.
I’m not insistent on it. I asked a question why I was getting booted off. I brought up the fact that maybe it’s me running it through that’s the problem. Then I get accuses of hacking when I’m asking a simple question. Then when the defensive gamer who knows everything gets proven wrong he jumps straight on the next thing that he can critique me about which is how I like to run my games.
Sorry I like having all my games in one easy place and using a feature than valve implemented into their software for people like me who like all their games in one place I’ll be sure to not use that feature anymore since I’m so insistent on using my computer my way.
No need to chimp out. Just use the normal launcher. It can easily be redownloaded on steam later.

Just been notified from a friend that he launches the game from steam just fine. You SURE you did it right? And no game isnt on steam yet
Yeah it works like shift+tab works but for some reason when I launch it through steam it says I’m playing enlisted while I’m on the launched then I hit play on the launcher and because it closes the enlisted launcher to boot the game it stops saying I’m playing enlisted
Not sure why people are instantly jumping to ‘your a hacker’ you need this thing called easy anticheat and I think if you run it not as steam game on steam it doesnt activate the anticheat

Yeah that was the case but the thing is gamers are the most defensive know it all’s in the history of man kind and when some innocently asks “why am I getting kicked for cheating” they instantly lynch you and say no he’s cheating he’s getting an error code for cheating hahahaha get rekt cheater.
If I was cheating I wouldn’t come into the game forum for the game I’m supposedly cheating on and ask why I’m getting this error.
BTW i reccomend be using the official non-steam launcher its more efficient and you can toggle stuff in there but you do you man if you want it on steam go nuts

Game always launches fine for me.
Then I wanted to launch it trough steam > Game kept weirding out on launch and removed it from steam.
Game launches fine again.
The anti cheat is a 3th party software blocker, steam is a 3th party. Should not flag but obv there is something flagging on your side of the screen so would recoment to not use steam with it.
try start easy anti cheat manual and then start game
What is the benefit of running through Steam?
