Game is a lot of fun to play and would be an amazing shooter with thousands of players… if it wasn’t so time consuming… Gun play is fun, but there’s so many things you can tell were set up in order to get people to pay to win. There’s so much focus on having multiple squads with multiple soldiers and guns. You end up spending more time in the menu trying to setup a squad then actually playin in the game itself.
If you dial back the time needed in the menus this could do really really well. But having to setup your squads right down to each persons gear and perks is such a massive waste of time. Find a way to get people in the fights so we can have epic battles rather than epic setup.

That’s a problem for like the first few hours of play time lol. Once you learn to navigate you can click 3 times and go another match. And the p2w is so negligible it’s sad that some people are angry at it. Is it
painful how obviously they try to make money from almost everything they can but p2w? Hardy

i have 100 hours and just realized you can just autostrip soldiers of their gear with a single button so its not that bad

It’s pay to win because you can just go throw money at it to make your squads way better faster and if say you want them all to have a good gun you can buy those too. It’s very much greed and does give more hardcore players an edge.
I still enjoy it a bit for what it is. I just can’t see this ever getting very big the way it is now. There’s already Battlefield and Hell Let Loose doing a good job in this genre. They just won’t pull players from those games to keep servers filled. The AI helps, but the AI kinda sucks.
My suggestion would be to ease off the money grab unless it’s mostly cosmetic or bonus stuff that’s not needed. Then come up with some kind of auto gearing feature for more casual players who just want to get in and play. Like something you could turn on that would just auto upgrade things and assign the best soldiers and gear you have.
If the devs just want a quick money grab on a game they want to make specifically for themselves and a small few that enjoy this, then my opinion doesn’t matter at all. But I just see a lot of potential in it that could compete with bigger games if it wanted To and draw a bigger audience. There’s a lot of good stuff here, just hate to see them blow it early on and not get a chance to really shine. I mean they’re already a step ahead of Battlefield since they have anticheat lol!
Thats what i actually like about the game, i love the tactical and strategic stuff and management around. Its not only shooting and runing otherwise i would play Battlefield. And TBh i would rather see more management stuff in menu like crafting and further improving… Sorry but its appealing on the game.

Same here! I love managing my squads. This makes Enlisted so unique.
I get that it’s appealing to you and probably most people on this forum as there’s not that many people playing it like me for this reason. I also at NO POINT have or will say they should get rid of that aspect of the game. Not sure how clear I need to make that.
This is from the perspective of a more casual player like myself and my friends who have played it and all had the same view on. That although the system isn’t bad, it needs something to appeal to the more casual player. Again this only matters if the devs want to grow the game into something big. If they just want a niche game then they’re doing fine and my opinion is invalid.
Other than hating on the money grab, which I never agree with in games and would rather just buy the game… I’m just giving constructive criticism for them if they would like to attract more players like myself. So if you’re simply disagreeing with me about the current mechanics of the game then it’s wasted as I do not think they should remove it. Just find a way to improve it for a larger player base.

There is already an autoequip button for every soldier, it takes the best qear at disposal and equips it on the soldier.
But as most people I would like to see more indepth management rather than more casual.
