Oh nvm youre trying for the quicker one i just saw one sec uploading the next one
Made it 3 times in a row…i think xD with different steering. So youre trying to simulate an ground attack or something in the last second ?
Can do 10 in a row if you want to study it more ? Or you want the closest one ?
More or less. Imo this is the best way to simulate how “accurate” you can control the plane.
And I can see that we have different standard of accuracy.
I made a few more tests and it seems that my “ramming accuracy” is mostly dependant on plane rotating to the right after spawning (it does it on it’s own).
What kind of standard do you mean ? I get the plane where i want it and usually can aim exactly where i need it. I have the same problem with an fully upgraded Bf109 G10 with those quick reaction shots arent always that easy. But guess youre on a top level kind of results even if i know what you mean. Its an harder plane to fly though and takes some compensating
Show me the results youre after
Those are my old videos of ramming a tank (different one than we chose).
With Bf-109 all I have to do is to aim my mouse and my plane will fly there.
Meanwhile in Fw-190 I have to constantly fight with the plane to keep it on target.
Bf-109 with me pointing my mouse is better at this test than Fw-190 with me using all controls I have to keep it on target.
No effort Bf-109 vs “do your best yet come up with shit results anyway” Fw-190. The choice is obvious for me.
Here:
You can see that in the 3rd attempt my plane rotates right (on it’s own) and I completelly miss the target.
Talk about being picky but see you can fly it if you rly want to
Just explain me why the hell plane is rotating right on it’s own.
No other plane I checked does this.
havent happened to me but if you talk about the wind pushing against your wings then that also happens on most planes in high speed turns from time to time. And if its little and compact as that plane is i can understand it behaves like Biplanes,Ive just noticed its an excellent glider xD
Unless the wind is working only when I fly Fw-190, I seriouslt doubt.
Havent you got the wind compressing you while diving and turning before?
Ive noticed its an perfect glider with no prop xD
I see nothing un normal here…But sure examining it a bit it does tip slightly to the left of which it usually does acc to the ladies…
Ps ive noticed that Landing flaps is rly good to go in dogfights but not to much of it so you dont loose to much energy but also control and since you cant break them its even better ^^ -Best tip in a while so ty for that widowmaker-
I never got an answer from you on this, Srg_Steiner, so apologies for clogging your thread with it. To illustrate what I’m saying (and what I think VoyoMayPL is saying), I have included links to 2 videos I uploaded.
What I would like anyone who’s interested in this to pay attention to is the discrepancy between where the aiming reticle is pointed, where the plane feels like it’s heading, and the target on the ground that’s being bracketed. I avoided shooting because I want to show as clearly as possible the offset approach that the FW-190 seems to have as I approach a ground target.
1st example (the normal experience I have in Enlisted) using an Me-410 B1 from Axis, Berlin.
Now what happens when I try the same thing with the FW-190 D-12 from Axis, Berlin.
Have you tried the same thing with an Biplane ? Could be the weight and wingspan perhaps. Fuck do i know im no air scientist as this is not irl either but a game xD And youre not clogging up anything here but just talking about FW behavior in the air
Tested it out, and was unable to recreate it. The biplanes are very responsive.
I know. I’m just a little disappointed that one of the best planes in the game behaves this way (at least for me).
I may not be using it correctly or something, and I can work a crude approach to get bombs on target; I’ve knocked out both tanks and aircraft with the FW-190 D12, but it just really, really, really feels awkward on that last part of the attack path to the target.
yeah its an hard flyer for sure at times but compared to WT its way more responsive as its “agile”. FW in warthunder how i remember it was more sluggish in a way and you rly had to use its energy to its fullest. Here its more like an angry little wasp running amok
