The recently released SITREP post talked about giving us a much requested customisation choice for vehicles in-game. In the past month we also got a lot of new camos for them as well as the ability to customize our bikes and APCs.
While all these changes are really appreciated there is an underlying issue with vehicle customisation which restricts the choice of players.
I am talking about the exceptionally high price for vehicle camos in-game and the lopsided mechanic surrounding the same. Currently if you purchase a single camo for 250 gold you can only use it on a single vehicle.
Even after unequipping that camo from the said vehicle you cannot use it on a different one. This is completely illogical and anti-consumer friendly. Even War Thunder from which Enlisted takes most of its vehicle assets doesnβt boast such a system as far as I am aware.
I have a few solutions for this problem namely:
- If they want to persist with this illogical system then the pricing needs to be reduced by a lot. The base camo should cost 50 gold and the decals should cost 25 gold at the very least.
This way F2P players would be able to afford a vehicle skin since they get 50 gold for free under the current Battle Pass system. Also more people will be inclined to spend gold since they will get more bang for their buck. - They can keep the price tag of 250 gold. But after purchasing the camo once it should be available to use for all vehicles in-game. You should also be able to use it on multiple vehicles at the same time to justify the high price tag. The same goes for the decals as well.
- They should come out with a seperate customisation order for buying vehicle skins and decals. This is the most desired solution but given the current state of affairs I am not too sure about this.
P.S. A bit unrelated to the post but Battle Pass tank skins also need significant improvement. The ones which we have gotten for the last couple of seasons seem to be of really low quality.
I would request our beloved CM @MajorMcDonalds to kindly pass on these suggestions to the developers for their kind consideration. Thank you.
