Ok, first off I love this game and now end game (not maxed) but reached end of progression… so think I might have a bit of experience.
What on earth is this event doing, I played one game, it gave me flashback of bf and COD gun game, you have zero strategy or immersion, it is purely run around recklessly and try and get first shot on a bunch of other players running around, then you don’t know what your next weapon is, which can require a totally different tactic or attack style…
I am sorry but think I will forfeit this event, I would never have imagined I would do this tbh! But this event is not for me, I’m more than happy to earn reward playing base game.
After about playing 3 games, this feels like I’m playing call of duty running around aimlessly like a chicken without a head looking for someone to kill. The rewards simply aren’t worth the extreme effort I must put in WHILE I’m getting no XP for any campaigns in this process.
Is more like a bad copy of counter strike viersion
I’m doing the event because I want the weapon upgrade orders @ 300 kills.
Pros:
- Everyone gets the same weapons set, so it is as balanced as it gets.
- You get to actually try some golden / premium weapons, but*
Cons:
- Total chaos. People spawning at random locations in a cramped arena, zero strategy, zero team objectives, pure run and gun.
- *these are bad conditions to test the actual value of said golden weapons. The extremely fast pace makes most of them (except “brawl” ones) feel just not worthy.
- It feels like what I DON’T want Enlisted to become.
It is a run and gun event.
They can’t please everyone. Maybe next one will be. More. For you, right now it might please a small or a large playerbase. It’s like moon event and or modern event.
I didn’t enjoy moon one, but I saw Alot of players enjoying it alot. We have to respect that.
Totally agree and it also shows how dated the game looks and behaves when it’s just another twitch shooter
Why do you restrict the hours of the event? what is the purpose of it?
Like that the event times are much more reasonable - but still don’t understand why restricted.
Not a fan of this game mode though - played once - shambles. Was just an aimless mess. Not for me.
There is no AI in this event. If it is available all the time, then there is a risk (this is not accurate, but a safety net) that the session may not be recruited from live players.
And a constantly available event gets bored faster. It’s like delicious ice cream that you can’t eat too much at once. XD

i did enjoy it alot so far. reminds me of deadmatch in cod2 or old combat arms game i used to play alot.
this spawn system tho, could open possibilities to Teamdeadmatch maps, capture the flag, search and destroy etc etc,

@1942786 the spawns are broken/bad in this mode.
I’ve spawned right behind enemies several times and I’ve been killed in 1 second after spawning numerous times already - there needs to be a condition "if enemy within 10 meters, new spawn location"
I’ve had someone spawn in my face 5 feet away, I killed him then in about 1 second another guy spawned in the same exact spot and I killed him too…yeah spawns are completely terrible
Friendly flamethrowers should not slow down the player. It’s mad when everyone is flaming friendlies.
Great event, it’s the kind of a “brain dead” game mode that it’s just fun, no real thinking involved, everyone can perform well, team balance doesn’t really matter, winning or loosing either, it’s just pure fun, and you can experiment with a lot of weapons quickly.
Here some feedbacks about the event so far :
Again, time restriction is a no-no especially in an event like this one, where there’s no competition (for prizes) between players (no leaderboard), just make it opened 24/7. I hear keofox saying it’s because there’s no AI in this one, but well, for now it’s fine, but next time (or if you add this game mode to the normal game list), add players randomly in each team one by one (so we have at most a 1 player difference, no matter if it’s 2v2 or 10v10) and then just fill the games with AIs (look at my suggestion in the last paragraph), but with terminator switch turned on lol, we have seen them being able to be very deadly, and that’s pretty much what we ask for a game mode like that, move randomly on the map, see a player, shoot! The closer the player is, the more deadly the AI is (so they don’t no scope people with a AT gun from 200 meters lol)
So far, I’ve encountered a couple maps, but one in particular is horrible for this game mode : Chateau du Bosq. You spawn, 1 second later you’re dead. It’s a massive chaos, explosive spam (when people gets the grenade launcher), spray and pray mess. Because, the map is too small, we litterally spawn on each other, and since spawns are kinda random, it’s a big mess. Other maps are pretty good for this game mode so far.
Snipers, I mean, it’s supposed to be a challenge, I get it, but only one sniper in the lineup would have been enough, two it kind of painful, especially the bolt action one, because the game mode is very CQB so basically either you’re a god at quick scoping or you hip fire and pray.
AT guns… the concept is nice, but WHY can’t we run with them ??? This game mode is litterally : spawn, run, shoot, die repeat. If you can’t run or jump, you’re dead. Also, on moscow maps, the AT gun just doesn’t reload somehow if you miss your shot… the player just stays with the gun in his hand doing nothing. If you do hit someone, then he reloads, but daaaamn, it’s so slow. I don’t play moscow that much, but I don’t remember those PTR… something AT guns to reload that slow. Just make it so we can run and jump like if the weapon was an MG (slower run, smal jumps, but you can still manage to do something) and fix/adjust the reload.
Spawns are kind of random, but on thing though : Spawning right behind an enemy is bad. I would love to have some kind of logic where there’s at least a reasonable distance between you spawning and the enemy spawning (don’t take into account people already in-game, just spawns locations) and give like a 3 second grace period so you don’t instantly get killed if someone was passing there right when you spawn, and that will also prevent those loosers farming kills behind a spawn.
For flamethrowers, maybe make it so teamates can’t hurt you, because it’s a big mess when everyone gets the flamethrower at the same time, so if we only have to deal with enemy flames that would be better. Also, maybe reduce the burn duration on the ground, so the battleground doesn’t look like a lava field for 5 mins straight lol.
Finally, PLEASE, add this game mode in the normal games list along side Squads, Practice, Lone wolf, etc. with a set of maps and random team join (can’t pick alliesor axis, so people don’t stack on one side), and maybe give exp per kill, plus bonus exp for kill streaks, headshots, being top leaderboard of your team, being the one that is the leader, etc. I honestly would play that every day if it was available. Also, it could be a game mode for custom games aswell, but don’t add it just there (add it to the normal games aswell), because it’s too hard to get enough players in custom games to make anything good usually. And, let players join until mid-game (like level 10, so you don’t join and 3 seconds later someone win), but make them unlock like one or two weapon behind the average of his team (e.g. if on average his team is at level 7, give the newly joined player the level 5-6 weapon, so he’s not under geared and still have a chance to win)
Honestly, good job for trying something different, it’s simple, but fun. Of course, not for everyone, but well can’t pleased everyone. And, I want mention, this time, nothing hidden, no trying to hide stuff, just quick and easy event description, and then let the player discover stuff by themselves, thumbs up!

Also, this event, being very fast paced shows up even more about the lack of competent servers… I talked about that couple weeks / months ago right after Stalingrad release, cause it had degraded at that time. It got better, but still not perfect, and now with this event there are a LOT of issues with server sync and lag compensation.
Couple notables issues that i’m sure everyone has been able to see clearly :
- Shooting someone, seeing the animation hitting the guy, but no damage dealt
- Shooting first, hitting the guy, but not damage, and then the guy shoots you, and he got the kill (goes both ways, sometime you get the hit, sometimes it’s the other player)
- Sliding being a hard wall, but still getting killed
- Melee… honestly can’t tell if swords are acutally better then before because it’s like impossible to hit someone if you’re not litterally IN the guy lol
- Getting killed by someone that litterally is not even remotely close to be aiming at you (again goes both ways, sometime you clearly miss your shot, but somehow manage to hit the other player)
I think if you guys at Darkflow analyze the server data from this event you’ll very easily see what I was talking about months ago with my server desync problem post and understand the above problems, to hopefully fix the server sync / lag compensation, that also happens outside of this event, but it’s just harder to see.
Well said it does not belong in this game, leave it to cod, bf, just pleased I’m end game, this is so the opposite of what I think Enlisted is about, leave the twitch sweaty aimbots to other games please!
