One thing I realized when I earned the Chi-Ha Kai from this event… it blows any tank I can get for free out of the water.
Every Japanese tank is so weak. 6-10mm armor ON THE FRONT (so basically HMG turns you into swiss cheese) and then a tiny 37mm gun. Ke-Ni is the best you can get since it gives you such a generous… 12mm armor on the front. But even with the “extra” armor, its weak gun requires you to keep shooting at American tanks, even tier 1 half tracks, until you can finally blow it up.
(seriously, you can compare them to tanks of any other campaign if you didn’t know how crap they are https://enlisted.vercel.app/tanks)
And then we have the Chi-Ha, Chi-Ha Kai, and Ka-Chi. All have the vastly improved 47mm gun, with Chi-Ha and Kai having 25mm front armor and Ka-Chi having 50mm front armor. What an improvement! These tanks might actually be able to defeat a BT-7 if they really tried! But, of course, they’re not free. Those of you who missed this event, you missed the Chi-Ha Kai entirely, and the other two are purchased, either as squad or as bundle.
So it seems a bit unfair to those who might be joining later, taking a break, or those who don’t wish to participate in events or spend money, to be permanently handicapped like this.
Skill issues, with premium chi-ha (event chi ha kai is basically just better version of it) I survived whole battle and end up on first place with 6k points.
I guess playing something that isn’t meta is pretty uncomfortable for you I feel sorry for you, mate.
I don’t think this is a skill issue. He is just complaining about the unfairness between the factions.
However, it is true to history that Japanese tanks of this period are poor.
When the Japanese experience of facing enemy tanks in the battlefield were actually Soviet BTs and T-26s and that is the experience based on when they used their tanks in the Philippines. Japan didn’t use Chi-Nu outside the Japanese mainland to the point that they use their older tanks against the Soviets in Manchuria in 1945.
I don’t think it’s unfair. Allies vehicles are just as bad in pacific. + I don’t know, I never had problem with that halftrack. One HE and its crew is dead + sometimes it sets that vehicle into fire.
I think this is skill issues and nothing else. Vehicles in pacific just aren’t meta, that’s all.
Lol did you really read the OP post? He is saying the campaign japan tank is worse than the event and premium one. And you are using a premium tank is good to say he has skill issue?
Bruh playing the Japanese right now is easy mode. Barely anyone wants to play Americans for some reason right now in general. Apart from bots of course.
I was so happy to see that in order to get the only viable tank for the Japanese I would need to play some ~15 out of 20 days, and I had a business trip for ~7 days so I knew from the start there’s ZERO chance. Nice.
