His personal funeral is already over. He was cremated and placed in a grave.
However, Japan has a system of funerals conducted as an external state, which will be held in late September. (Controversially…few post-WWII politicians have had state funerals.)

However, there is actually a “mogari-no-gi” ceremony regarding the emperor, in which he is laid to rest without a funeral for two months.
I didn’t even believed. In Portugal everyone though she was somehow imortal.
May she stay the longest serving monarch in history.
