Flamethrower feedback

Hey,

I would like to give some feedback about the flamethrower. This is just from my own experience since ive got mine on the german normandy line about a week ago.

  1. The flamethrower does not always set people on fire. Even after going over them multiple times.

  2. When you blast a squad with flames, the AI/Bots just fire through your flames with their guns and kill you. I think it should not be like this.

  3. It would be nice if a flame would be able to go with a corner. In a bunker for example.

If I can think of anything else, I shall add it on later.

I never had this issue.

Yes.

If you fire long enough in one place it will explode with fire in about 3m diameter.

Just bumping up this thread for the Devs to take notice.

There is still a huge problem with the flamethrower jet stream which appears to be ineffective for some distance from the firer.
This is inconsistent and illogical with your other programming which sets the firer immediately on fire should there be some random intervening piece of terrain which some some reason bounces the flame jet at the firer.
I have no idea what you have coded here, but it needs a solid looking into.
Most importantly any enemy soldiers caught in the fire stream need to be immediately set on fire and not walk through the firewash, shoot you and then potentially tippi toe through the fire bits on the ground to avoid getting set alight - stupid implementation, pls fix.
