Just because one buff dude can do it, it means entire army can do it too. I guess we will having dual wielded mgs for USA since one dude showed that everyone is capable of doing that.
See??? MG1919A6 will be dual wielded from the next patch.
Even in modern conflict they are still using it with bipod to hit with precision. Stand shooting should have pitiful accuracy and bots should be targeting your stupid ass as a best punishment.
Which I completely agree with and indicated in my post that it would be the best option. Solothurn S18-100 needs to remove the mechanics of firing only from the bipod.
Youâre not firing one from the shoulder accuretly in the heat of combat, especially not with any hope of reaquiring a shot. Just because something is theoreticly possible doesnât mean itâs realistic.
Either the soldiers in this game are super soldiers, or theyâre not, the limit on the S-18/1000 is artificial that is the sole point of OP. If all soldiers can fire weapons on full auto with full-power cartriges, and be able to hold and rapid-fire AT rifles whilst aiming directly downwards or upwards, then limiting the S-18/1000 is at best just inconsistent.
They are definitely super soldiers, especially the Japanese. Otherwise how to explain that for Japan your AT gunner can carry 50 kg anti-tank rifle on his back and still run normally or even more, in theory he can pick up a second such anti-tank rifle and carry 100 kg on his back. And he would still be able to run with a katana in his hands.
I didnât say I disagree with your suggestion. Just difference in defining realistic scenario, whether it is shooting range or battle environment.
Remember the failed experiment on mg handling in Stalingrad campaign? I wouldnât trust the devs to do justice to either mg or anti tank rifle, so just leave everything in its current arcade form.
Iâm not against a full realism toggle for future match-making (should there be enough players one day), or just custom matches, that could be interesting (embrace-feature for most heavy weaponry, realistic ammo counts but no unlimmited reloads from squadmates, only SMGs and carbines for secondary weapons, lower AT-launcher reload speed just to name a few). The devs just need to realize that they canât have their realism and arcade game in one.
Imo all âheavyâ guns like MMGs and AT rifles shouldnât be usable without mounting. Or at least not anywhere close to being effective (like very high recoil, no ADS hipfire only etc.).
But also Iâm aware thatâs unrealistic in the current state of run&gun focused game.
Modders can implement most of these realistic settings but very few are going to play it at the end of the day. Canât have custom battles striving without official support.
True, I personally donât want to see MGs without shoulder stocks being added (like the M1919A4 for example), or they should at least have the same mechanic as the Solothurn AT rifle. Adding this mechanic to the Type 97 would help to balance it without putting it to a higher BR, where it might become ineffective, because one of the main complains about this gun was the fact that it is OP. I think AT rifles with a 20mm caliber should have this mechanic.
Hereâs why for me, I think itâs an unnecessary mechanic to be introduced this late into the game, just for one specific AT rifle. If they had added that mechanic since the beginning for all heavy weapons, this wouldnât be an issue.
Hereâs the other thing, unfortunately Enlisted is a very fast paced game. And having to go prone to shoot your AT rifle already puts you at a disadvantage in this game.
Its just not worth the effort, why is it locked behind a BP at all?!
I just hope they add the S-18/1000 as TT gun, or a 2 cm ĂMG 30 L/50.
It just isnt even viable, beyond more than 1 shot, you cant aim upright, its also wrong, or they decided to give it Pzgr.40 (even tho the gun didnt have it).
I dont even have enove time to grind the lvl 30 gun.
