Fix the "Hip-fire moving penalty" of the select fire rifles

As you can see below, the FG-42-II as well as its counterpart the FG-42-I (not listed) have a worse “Moving Dispersion Penalty” while in Hipfire (Higher means more dispersion = less accurate).

Hipfire is a useful tool in the game for avoiding AI fire, and in combination with some other stats, make the FG-42 less reliable in terms of accuracy. It is one of the only guns in the entire game to have a higher than 15 penalty here (except for things like Machine Guns).

This penalty also affects the accuracy of the weapon as you enter the sights, which can make it frustrating to miss when you are on target while aiming down the sight.

My suggestion is to equalize the weapons for parity, fairness, and balance.

FG-42-II Moving Dispersion Penalty for Hipfire 23 → 15
FG-42-I Moving Dispersion Penalty for Hipfire 23 → 15

The anti German bias is insane… they are all 15 except for the German gun lol

Thinking about this - i was wondering, has anyone here ever considered FG having a bipod to be an advantage that should be taken into consideration?
Because it is definitely somewhat of an advantage even if very small.

Likewise, more hipfire spray “can” be an advantage in super tight cqc aswell, especially paired with a very high rapid fire rate, but I guess this is still also not really a overall benefit for the gun.

I have argued in the past that AVT was generally more accurate than FG42, so in the right hands the smaller magazine could matter less, but recent changes indeed seem like this doesn’t really should count anymore.

How come we’re not talking about faction characteristics at this moment? What benefits Germany is a ‘unique feature’; what hurts Germany needs ‘balancing’. Other factions don’t get 990 RPM Automatic rifles, do they? Where’s the equality and fairness in this?

in the fact that FG42 have worse dispersion when it comes to longer ranges

also the avs was recently buffed to be precise/easy to control by having 5 less rounds

also you are ignoring the m2 carabine which is a smg on rilfe slot with a little bit less rof which is good yea… until you realize that T20 is way better to beggin with

and for ending this statement maybe the rof on the fg42 is good on cqb but it comes with the curse that u will be reloading half times + more recoil

In-game, the FG42 only requires minimal recoil control skills. If you struggle with handling its recoil, try the FG42 Paratrooper variant —then you’ll truly understand how terrifying this weapon can be.

i mentioned it has higher recoil than avs but it doesnt means that the recoil is bad
also since i managed to control my skill issue (not 100% of times) weapon recoil isnt a problem for me anymore

all i mentioned was around this statement you said

where i point out that is fair to have the fg42 with insane rof when you realize than except on CQB its performance is reduced when it comes to terms of dispersion and bullet velocity along the fact that at least for me being out of bullets after less than 30 secs is a curse rather than an actual help thats why i look that bot avs and fg42 rof “buff” is pointless with such a short mag
