Technically we talk about the F/G because German was low on resources they mixed the hull of the F and the turrets of the G, and just for testing the hull of the G with the turret of the F
Well we have T34 100, Panther F as an event tank wouldn’t be crazy at all - especially considering that it would still be worse than Tiger II H - just a more mobile alternative, but with less firepower.
Oh true - no overlaying gun mantlet with turret armor - but 120mm instead of 100mm + double on some spots means its consistently stronger but overall weaker.
The 100mm frontal armor should still matter tho right?
I mean what wrong with having Panther F in game even as tech tree unlock I mean it not worse than Ho-ri III with sloped armor which was not even the Ho-ri model that Japanese were planning to make
Well I simply think that Japan should be the exception - since unlike Germany which has sooo many real vehicles to choose from, Japan needs those rare prototypes.
Rare prototype dude its not even that its literal fantasy , rare prototype would be Ho-ri II .(Which according to my research one complete prototype was made but even if it didn’t it went through production)
Ho-ri project was meant to make a SPG on top of the Chi-ri chassis now you tell me where the hell is chi-ri chassis in the ho-ri design my man you know how much resource it would take for them to make a sloped armor for Ho-ri III to put it bluntly Ho-ri III is just fantasy while the design was real it never went to production stage the one that did was Ho-ri II
I would love to see the German Hetzer (tank) in the game. I used it quite often in H & G for the 360° machine gun. It’s also quite small, so it’s easy to hide in the bushes.
isn’t funny that they were allegedly the same going for " historical accuracy " ?
go figure i guess…
like personally, believe it or not, i wasn’t… really going to get it in the first place. albe it, could have been an interesting premium for those who played war thunder.
but i just came to the realization and after reading more deeply the tank encyclopedia article, that the panther F is… technically half fiction, half a " thing ".
mind you, this vehicle was in berlin closed alpha. ( the second one. not the first one ) during enlisted period.
which means way before the merge was even an idea.
