M2 in Normandy would like a word with you. Jumbo, Chaffee, and MKb-42 are waiting in line too.

It shouldn’t be. It wouldn’t have been adopted for service by the time Tunisia was over, and the MKB42(h) barely has historical reasons to be in Moscow.
That said, drum thompsons shouldn’t be a thing either. Did the drums exist, and were they used by allied armies? Yes. Had they been phased out by the time Tunisia was going? Also yes.
Drum thompson is the next allaied smg because we have already the box one, for axis instead berettaM38
Oh, I know it’s going to be added, I just don’t think it should be, since it the drums weren’t in service/common use at the time. I know there’s loads of other historical problems with this game, and this is just my opinion. I don’t think it’ll be imbalanced, since there’s a lot of long distances in Tunisia, so having a drum mag SMG isn’t exactly game breaking.
Is sufficient look at the ppsh41 in berlin most people use the (box) version because there is no real motive to buy the (drum) outside more bullet, its the same weapon in the end
well sniper M1 garand (which wasnt used in ww2) is in game already so im afraid some very bad balancing decisions might be made for tunis but lets not bog down to what bad migh awaits us but what bright is coming
The M1C garand was used in europe, albeit in small numbers, having been adopted in June 1944. It should be an inaccurate pile of crap, though, since the scope mounting system is awful.
from what i know, garand sniper was adopted 1944 and the first guns were used at the end of pacific theatre for testing , none managed to reach europe
When I see others use PPSh in Berlin, its mostly the box mag ones as that’s the first PPSh that they can unlock. I do prefer the iconic drums as those are a huge help in cleaning rooms with more shooting and less reloading.
Box version is a nice taste test that made me want to use the drum version later on.
