This is not fomo, this is an infringement on the interests of players under the setting of the new season pass.
Originally, there were only 4 seasons a year, with 5-6 days of vacation. But at that time, it was usually extended by 7+14=21 days a year, or even more.
The new season pass is 10 seasons a year, with 15-16 days of vacation. Now 13+7=20 days have been used (13 of which are from the first season starting on January 14).
In other words, 4-5 days of the 10 seasons planned this year have been occupied by developers.
However, 2025 has just started.
Players are worried about more infringements. When there are 3-4 more extensions (7 days each), players will directly erase a season in 2025.
Will anyone be happy to face a one-month salary reduction?

True, and according to the developers’ information, they had three battle passes practically ready, with a shorter period where, by the end of the year, we would have more weapons, vehicles, soldiers and gold than with the normal period of the pass. Now, with these delays, the battle passes will have the same duration as the old passes, with the difference that they will have less content.

you are missing how they are extending BP shop under the guise of BP delay. that is why i am talking about fomo. buy all GO weapons now or miss them forever(or till some event).

So what about the players who were hurt by not getting extensions in similar changes in the past?
Why were only these players given extra forgiveness?
Why were they given more preferential treatment while others were forced to make sacrifices.
The original design schedule would be smooth for players.
Now, we may face a situation again where some players are forced to complete BP tasks in the upcoming events due to the delayed start of BP.
Without this feature, they will be forced to spend time on BP and events separately.

All I can say is that the picture is open to different interpretations.
Shrug, but at least we’re on the same page.
So we have to wait another week with no explanation everyone is radio silent the least you could do is put the battle pass shop on sale until it closes. would at least be a bright side to extending the battle pass another week.

I don’t know if this is good news or not. Some players may continue to be forced to log in every day to open another big crate and hope to get a gold card.
This is the MG-39 event squad. On winter maps, you can change their outfit, exposing their head. The only reason I use this squad, as the mg39 sadly sucks donkey ass compared to its bretheren…
Wish we could do this with other squads, this guy looks pretty dashing

I thought the whole point of the new BP format was that it isn’t tied to game development, so major updates wouldn’t be released at the same time as a new BP, but they would be consistent.
Was all that a bunch of lies too?

so let’s recap
you took away a battle pass with a lot of content because you couldn’t get to the end of each one in time and even now that you only have ONE WEAPON AND TWO BLAND SKINS (soldiers can be easily recycled) YOU CAN’T EVEN DO THAT…
and you even have the audacity to tell us that you will take away our golden orders after failing again in front of our eyes
it’s only February and you’re already practically telling us that 2025 will be a year of failures like 2024
and I’ll stop here otherwise I’ll get banned if I really have to say what I think of you DF

Not a fan of the new format. Now we get three times the excuse for extending the pass making it so you do not get any of those premium rewards format promised. I bet they are going to keep jacking up the daily BP task requirements as well. Kill 150 people with a headshot using an engineer, Destroy 8 tiger 2’s in one match, Capture 20 strategic points in a match etc ect. Its starting to get ridiculous. Before vehicles were a catch all for planes APC’s and tanks.
