Thats what i meant above, the event is not randomized. at the top of the screen you can choose the faction.
Most people do not get it, thats why most players got assigned to USSR

Gold Booster Rewards Are Insufficient: In the previous Metal Storm event, purchasing the Gold Booster for provided additional weapon rewards. However, in this current event, these types of rewards seem entirely absent. Spending 900 gold only nets players a meager booster and a nickname decorator. I love this event, but how can I justify spending 900 gold for this? I would expect the 900 gold investment to grant me additional weapons, similar to getting the MAS-36, such as two Japanese Thompsons and Fedorov Rifles.

Event Rewards Donât Match the Required Effort: The requirement to earn 12,000 points every day for 12 consecutive days creates an extremely high event intensity. This demands a significant amount of player online time, making it quite challenging for those with work or school commitments. Additionally, Metal Storm offered players 6 slver box per stage. Shouldnât this event also add similar extra rewards, or at least significantly increase the free pass rewards (e.g., more Silver, Boosters, and event weapons) to incentivize players to complete such high-intensity matches?

Battle Imbalance: Soviet weapons in the event are objectively better than the Japanese ones. Compounding this issue, the event doesnât feature random faction assignment. This combination causes almost all players to flock to the Soviet side, severely disrupting battle balance. Previous âEvent Fightsâ did utilize random faction assignment.

In my opinion, the event needs to be redesigned. You need to play with the units that you have upgraded. Not the ones that are given to you. Some units have all 5 br. Others have a maximum of 4 br. This is not a balanced system. And it certainly is not a fair fight.

Thatâs his right, the first road to change is expressing the want for one, it either gains traction and gets implemented or it doesnât, no harm has been commited for simply voicing your opinion. You can never hope for change if everyone thinks itâs impossible, and many a time a suggestion has been implemented even though plenty of people stated that âitâs not going to happenâ.
The possibility for change comes from other people seeing that, in fact, there are likeminded people out there, and that you are not alone.
He does? I havenât noticed. I guess he likes to state he refuses to use certain things, either at all or on certain maps, maybe that can come across as self-righteousness, I donât read it that way, he simply has a lot of respect for history and I donât think thatâs a bad thing.

Way to ruin an event. So you can only use 4 squads that are not your own wasting 6 matches a day getting nothing in return but crappy prizes? I can even pay you money for a sucky event? Thanks! But NO THANKS. 12k a day is 24k on a two day grind. Do you people like making people grind? Are we really powering a bitcoin operation? I can imagine the thought process of the dummy who came up with this event. See we get them to waste 20% more time so we can sell them a short cut for money! Why not make it 25 a day then sell a 10$ token that reduces to 12k a day? Or a 25$ token that reduces it to 8k. This game is getting VERY anti players. Even dumb more compounding the game losing players. People like games for fun not paying you and wasting hours on end for scraps.

it takes 2 minute to find a match, also random soldiers in random squads kinda makes it hard to grind but overall nice event gj

I completed the 12k just recently and it took 4 games taking out APCs and tanks is where the points are at. Building rally points and spawning APC help a lot as well.
The only thing I would suggest if possible is making it more of a balanced MM with join any army because it auto starts you on USSR even if you had Japan pre selected in squads mode.Another thing is giving Japan their katanas even if its 1 per squad since theres no perks in any squads.
REMOVE the map where they start on the beach its completely unfair when its 3 Japan players vs 8 USSR players and the fact that they can spawn camp our vehicle spawns is horrible

My opinion on the event.
Bad:
12K in one day instead of 20 in two.
No silver,
no rank points (so you have to play normal mode for that).
Predefined squads. (What did I level up and equip mine for? It feels strange not to have my troops. It destroys the role-playing feeling.)
Good:
You can do the BP tasks.
New event, at least something new.
Weird:
Why do the NPCs have BT-7 or KE-NI?
Why is an infantryman driving the APC and not the APC driver?

the presets are awful and balance should be better, if the point of this event is to collect data regarding a Soviet vs Japan MM why not make a pure BR III or V lineup with actual loadouts/perks? right now soviet teams are fully stacked.

I selected japan 2 times and still got soviets
did you click on the top of the screen for Japan or in squads mode? you first have to go on the event and then click on Japan
