Played 4 rounds, two Soviets, 2 Japan, Japan is a total walk over, boring I was top of leader board, still no good against 10 players.
Everyone defaults to Soviets. Joined a Japan side, was spawn camped and in the end just watched the game play out, was totally not enlisted event I was looking forwards too.
Even though I bought booster as had some spare gold, I am going to stick to Soviets grind this out oblivious of Japan faction being empty, should be easy enough to farm bots.
This needs serious rebalancing @MajorMcDonalds or you will just get lop sided matches and unfun experienceâŚ
Upd: Look anyone who is feeling burnt out, just get soviet tank and farm 80-100 per match be over soon!

Regarding balancing of players in the event, a few things were already done and more are being discussed.

Love the event but in future, can the 900 gold buy in be worth more then a 25% boosterâŚsay 50-75%? The amout of gold doesnt seem worth the 25% booster for a free event. Plus since wins donât count to our point total climb towards Marshal, we have to play a LOT each day. Cool event though!

I just realized that the premium account bonus is not applied to the event games. Meaning you are actually getting less silver than just playing the normal game. By quite a lot.

consider also give also lootboxes as compensation for the disaster they did
Or the 900 gold buy in should unlock bonus things like in the BP. At very least it should allow you to keep going through the levels instead of waiting for one a dayâŚnot worth the gold at all. @MajorMcDonalds

That didnt seem to work out ⌠tried the gamemode today & havent seen a Japanese win in 5 games ⌠just Soviet rolfstomps.

Recommendation for next such event:
- please do not reset the progress every day, just unlock one more slot, but let us continue next day with the same slots and earned points still available.
- next time start off with âjoin anyâ - so Japan is not immediately losing
Played two matches, as thereâs no âJoin anyâ first I waited a lot with sowiets to play against 2 japanese players. Was a boring match where they could barely leave their spawn points.
Then switched sides, and as Japans we were like 5-6 against 10 which is not bad but of course still lost. With these matches I earned 4000 points and I doubt Iâll attempt the 12K as that would be around 3 hours daily.
I loved the preset squads on the other hand, great to check out some unfamiliar weapons.

I have to be honest, I just played a somewhat even sided match, not sure how but I never changed to Japan intentionally, but ended up on Japan faction (might just be my controller trigger is sensitive), this time were about 6 of us and it was a pretty fun fight in Myansera Inv map.
Event main grind today was sitting in t34 and looking at bot columns with HE eyes!
Not sure if Any was option, but will check tomorrow. I also think we who bought booster should get something else freebie, 900 just for 20percwnt not really worth it.

Oh just to say, if you sort balance out so its fair fight, this could be fun, it works. But not sure of real campaign, I think that was low BR battle and something we donât have in game (like the burning suicide trucks in that movie!)
Thank you for delivering as promised, a few tweaks and it might be quite good.
replace type 4 rifle with type hei 10rnd
add katanas and lunge mines
swap out japanâs B5N2 plane for literally anything else

I personally enjoy the basically PVE experience.
With what? Because it doesnât have guns? 2 500 lbs for a bomber with great agility is nothing to complain about.
Maybe if it was the ki 100 we just got canât remember if thatâs fighter though
Your other mentioned i agree with however.
not having any kind of guns in the front is nasty especially when the tail gunner shoots so slow and doesnât have enough damage or time to kill a plane on your tail
very interesting, but guns could be replaced with those old GO weapons that werent available in other events months before this one, I will have too many Thompsons for Japan now

I liked the event mainly because of the Japanese Tiger as a prize and I never doubted that I would enter the game, but it is fair thing is to receive double weapons for the investment with Gold Booster rewards, in addition to the 6 silver boxes at the end of each stage reached! In my opinion, the nickname decorator could be of a theme of the playerâs choice, either entirely with the Japanese flag or entirely with the Russian star, and not a mix of the two!
To make the matches more exciting, the Japanese troops need the swords and without lunge mines, you definitely canât die gloriously for the emperor like that!

So you finally after literally years of asking introduce Even Fight.
Ok.
You finally have a possibility to limit certain weapons and make the fight at least somewhat historical.
Why on Earth do you still have Autohei and Fedorov 25?
Why not even try to create a somewhat different (fear this word â historical) gameplay experience?
Would it really hurt to have JUST ONE event that is based on WW2 without prototypes?
Just PPSh vs Type 100, Mosin vs Arisaka, Chi Ha (Kai) vs T-26 and BT-7?
