Yup, WT is more stressful than real life. That’s why I hardly play it now
Good idea though

I think because rifles and early mgs ( and some early smgs to some extend) are so bad compared to high lvl weapons, + ppl not having access to full squads with pioneers, getting EXP at lvl 1 to lvl 10 is extremely painful, I would say that it takes longer to get to lvl 10 than it takes to get from lvl 10 to lvl 20.
Its just that the lack of stuff early on is limiting you heavily on even being useful at the battlefield, low lvl players are literally just cannon fodder, and that has to change quick.
Not gonna lie, i had some friends who tried the game and got thrown off because of the grind, they didnt even make it to lvl 10.
This is so f**king true.
Hmm, the good stuff doesn’t really smoothen out until say level 15… but I stayed on for the theme. Love it.
What’s a ‘main’ sorry, noob question lol
Someone who only plays a side
Cool, thanks.
Yes, so that’s why I think that if they could at least max star their weapons more easily, it would be a tad easier at least
Or perhaps change the way the grind work. By changing the very long campaign line to a campaign ramifications unlock tree, with branches that could still need to be grinded, but also be accessed sooner.
Or give all newbies a free premium squad for one campaign containing a full upgraded Tier II Assaulter or Gunner squad until they reached a certain level.
You know…
A temporary “help” squad is… a surprisingly good idea.
It would even be a win/win scenario both for the new player and gaijin
It’s deserving a thread of it’s own.
yeah that would fix sooo many things, who knows, maybe we might see something like that in the end.
I like it the way it is. The squad unlock trees are enough for me. I love the leveling and grinding aspect
The problem is that people who dislike something are always louder and more about to post / demand than the people who like something. The people who like something usually don’t post. This is just human behaviour but might lead to false impressions in communities.
I don’t want to play cod or battlefield. I love enlisted so please don’t try to make it round and perfect. War is edgy
well that is absolutely true. Its interesting to think about it, the reason we even have game forums for the feedback aspect, yet it is obvious that we all at some point had something to complain about, which got us to even start doing all the posting.
Must be tough for gamedevs to read through forum posts, since 90% is negativity even if ppl love these games- otherwise they wouldnt care.
Ofc! Remember when game devs created a game and designed it just like they wanted it to be. In the end it got released. Then came publishers that restricted their freedom. Now it’s the gamers themselves who put a hold on creativity and product design.
Nowadays devs always have to fear a shitstorm
Hmm, I agree and disagree too. What I mean is how devs take such inputs.
If they are soft they’ll make a soft mushy directionless game. (EA games seem like this, second of course to their massive profit priorty)
If they are hard, they miss many opportunities to expand player base and revenue (e.g. see the game Niche).
A good example of balance is Satisfactory (see their latest YT vid explaining what they WONT add to their game, as their discussion on their dev POV is excellent). They are mushy in some areas but retain a hard core, and I believe it drives growth better than either extremes.
Gaijin, well, I am not impressed how they develop WT at all. It’s too myopically aimed at profit for me to enjoy the beauty of it (beyond tank 7). Enlisted, at least for now, seems VERY different - although I can see the groundwork for the same economic structures getting built in for potential exploitation.
