As you may heard there’s a pretty relevant game is now switching to 2nd gen and raising a backing campaign.
I want to talk about Enlisted’s backing history and what you may want to look out for.
I have some friends who have been playing WT for a long time. And participated in Enlisted’s Crowd Funding campaign (Backers).
(I was playing Verdun/RO2 back then. WT was and still is extreme unfriendly to new players for long grinding.)
Gaijin had a pretty successful crowd funding stuff.
The “Panfilov’s 28 men”
No matter which ones, even as greedy as Gaijin is/was, they did not asked for any over priced options.
But for the one which is happening:
They even managed to get such detailed divided price options up to thousands of dollars. And FAQ is empty… And no clear progressive goal on different funding levels. Just a straight up 2 million money, 2 month time.
Just SUS
Think more if you want to backing it. Yeah, game industry is pretty much a money pit. The classic Red Orchestra 2 took 1 million USD in 2000s for developing. But it need a clear plan, not just pure passion.
Here’s an pretty “successfully failed” of a kickstarter WW2 FPS game. They at least delivered a playable game. But just something went terribly wrong.
Their higher priced options are for multi-licensed pack. So not that absurd.
And their target is pretty solid.
Here’s what Enlisted’s target:
Also detailed and feasible.
