Then he should not act like a child whose favorite game has been insulted. I ask some simple questions and wanted not more as some informative opinions.
well you will find out if your opinion doesn’t line up with there’s they troll you its kind of sad but you will always have these type of people
This is a fact. The game is only like this because back in the old days (even before my time, ask the Alpha chads here) people prefer the freemium model (ofc Df didn’t sell the free version as freemium version) instead of paying 30-40 shekels one time because people are either too greedy to spend money but rather wanna get al-butt-fucked by the grind, the broken order economy and the premium system… or paying hundreds of shekels for gold and squads.
How you can conclude that I defend the freemium system is beyond my mind, I guess. I have more fun with the Stalingrad DLC than on Normandy and the CBTs of Tunisia and Berlin (where I didnt hear any complaints from the Yankee with hat or reddit).
Oh and dont listen to the Yankee with hat.
Said the Yankee with hat.
To be exact that voting for freemium model happend long before CAT started. So noone was even playing the game at that time.
Okay, thought this was in the alpha, as only alphas shared this information. My bad.
Thanks for this answer. I do not now if premium is the best way, but a lot of free2play games are using it. And surly they have to make some profit to finance the game. If we have time, a friend and I buy for one day premium or a battle pass.
There is a lot of grind, thats true. But we play for fun and new things are great and helpful, but just playing the game is in our focus. So longe grinding is not the problem for use. What for me (and I think a lot of people here) is not clear: Do we have to pay to unlock things like the Drilling M30 and such basic squads/ weapons? Some here say you can unlock it by XP, other saying no you have to buy the Campaign package.
These freemium is really uninteresting for me. If it helps people, why not. But if only one vehicle would be available in a Campaign, because I have to buy the rest for 30€ it would be to much P4P.
You have to unlock the level like a normal one, but you are unable to use the weapon/squad.
So for example you need to earn the 24k Exp for the TOZ B but you dont unlock it, unless you buy the full access.
Ok, this is shit. So I do not need to play the new campaign.
Yeah the free version is more of a free test than a full campain.
I mean you get a lot for the 30 € you pay, but i can understand people how are not willing to pay, and want to enjoy this game as f2p.
I really do not thing it is a lot for 30€ if I compare it to other games and what I pay for that. And I do want to support the devs and will sometimes pay for premium or battle pass, but wanting so much money for one campaign is in my opinion way to overrated.
Most things are overpriced imo. Not only Stalingrad and customization.
Prime examples being premium squads.
Imo it is okay, you pay 30€ for campaign you will have finished in week and you can just enjoy playing. You even have soldiers and weapons almost fully upgraded. For mě this is much more enjoyable than F2P campaigns and it will take time for mě to get back to them.
And for me it is the other way. Slowly getting better, get lucky if you could free a new weapon or squad after long gride and the game is getting prong after you got everything what is in the game.
*boring
Yeah they are, but they are optional and if someone want them he can buy it. I see no problem with that.
Well. I usually play games with prices so my experience is based on
- Heroes and Generals
- War Thunder
- Warface
- SKILL 2
Long story, conclussion: Sucked hard. WT doesn’t need explanations I guess, Heroes and Generals had worse grind than Enlisted (only its fewer AIDS in terms of freedom because you could decide what you want to grind) and absurd gold prices and repair costs. Warface wasn’t the best either, as most good guns and skins were behind a paywall. Skill wasn’t good too as they also had absurd high repair costs and you could use most guns only for a limited time unless you paid for them with paid currency.
Well. HnG had to fire 30 employees iirc and Skill is dead (sadly). Warface and WT still exist though.
Not if the grind is either boring, useless or even game-breaking looking at Normandy mainly or the new levels we got for all campaigns which are either (illogical) copy+paste or not useful at all. Thats a reason why Tunisia is so unliked by many as the grind contains copy+pasts.
Oh sry. Overlooked that. Yes you have in Stalingrad
That’s the actual purpose of Stalingrad. Enlisted freemium model contains four base campaigns and the rest is DLC. I partly agree that Df should have communicated this better, as only people who stayed long enough here (usually alpha testers) and people who got the information from them know this.
Ok thank you for the detailed answer. I compare the gem value with the 30€ I spend in it. So no Heroes and Generals or something like this. So if they really want to go these way and payment for every campaign I think they will be killing the game. Fullprice is the one, free2play with premium the other. But paying for every new aspect of the game again and again, I think this will not work. So I now have to tell my friends what this new pay for campaign is and I’m sure the will not like it as much as I do.
Well. Its a taste decision then I guess and I respect this as long as people here dont say that 10 is more than 16.
I’m F2P and I’m not having problems competing, bolt actions are so damn good right now.
