Enlisted should be avalible on PS4!

I can’t think of any reason why should Enlisted not be on PS4. They would gain so much more players…

yes, you are right

Well I think the game would run very downgraded and poorly on a nearly 8 years old console. I am glad they offered Enlisted just for Xbox Series S|X and PS5 so there are no compremises needed to run on older hardware. It also gives the developer more time and resources because of the low amount of platforms. Enlisted was released on the beginning of the “new Gen” era, there is a high chance it will become more and more successful.

I don’t recall the exact wording but it was said in an official stream on the launch day of the OBT that old-gen consoles would have held the game back and cause limitations.

They would, yes, but it would also mean creating two different versions of the game, one for current gen and one for last gen, which would cost twice and much and negate any extra players they actually collect.

This has been expressly rejected. Same with having it on Xbox 1 or 360. This game is only avaliable on PC and 5th generation consoles. No Ultra Low Quality is ever gonna be added, so the newer consoles wont get quality gameplay out of the game, thus dropping them entirely.

I dont think the game would need ULQ to run on a PS4, enlisted can run on a Potato and alot of last gen games that run on the Ps4 and Xb1 have much higher minimum and recommended specs than enlisted.
CRSED:FOAD (cuisine royale) is available on Ps4 and that game is literally just Enlisted battle royale with more guns and special characters.

I think the real reason the devs don’t want to develop a Ps4 version is because they dont see the point in developing and supporting a version of the game for a console that just became last gen hardware in the long term, which is understandable.

After my experience with console WoT, before I moved to PC, and their desire to drag around the fossil known as the XB360 I’d say no. I went to PC from console to get away from these limitations and the ability to upgrade my system as I needed to in order to get the best performance I could. Console and PC have cross over here and I don’t want my system set to the limits of a last gen system. Not trying to be a PC elitist here, but how I feel based on my last experience with an XB1 that was limited by a brick.

No… No they don’t.

The previous gen have JUST ENOUGH to reach minimal requirements of the Enlisted.

Enlisted minimal specs

  • Unspecified Intel i3
  • 8GB of Ram
  • Radeon 78xx or 1060

Specualted PS4 Specs

  • 8 core AMD CPU
  • 8 GB of Ram
  • ~Radeon 7850 (quite comparable to the GTX 750Ti)

I know console players like to imagine that their system secretly runs on dual Titan RTX graphics but that is simply untrue.
You have to understand that PS4 and Xbox One are consoles from 2013 with medium+ hardware that barely held up to recent years (Cuberpunk 2077 quietly tries to leave the room).

In addition that would require the devs to work on 2 more additional versions of the game and that would hold down the overall progress.

I’d suggest selling the PS4 and building a potato pc instead. I mean it’s not like the previous gen will be seeing a bright future anyway.
