Sure, if you called Xbox players “bots”, I would know you were insulting Xbox players as being incompetent.
I would NOT get in a debate with you about the definition of the word “bot”. 
We are all welcome to our own opinions on the matter. However, such a debate is counter-productive, and only creates division amongst the gaming community. We would accomplish more as a group, by focusing on issues within the game, and pressuring the developers into giving us what we are asking for (as a community/player-base).
Well, it’s not a opinion. It’s a fact.
Ofc there are some extremely skilled console players, but that’s not very common, sadly.
I would advise the majority of console players to turn off crossplay. For everyone’s interest. One less issue to worry about.
Why would we do that? The player-base is already small enough as it is… I have ZERO interest in playing matches that are 30% console and 70% A.I. controlled squads. What a good joke!

30 % bots and 70 % bots, if you know what i mean.
Here is something to ponder: People who grew up playing controller/console, would have no trouble playing a game on a PC with a mouse and keyboard.
However: people who grew up ONLY playing PC, will not adapt as quickly as the former, and will probably suck with a controller for a longer period of time.
So what’s the difference between a PC player and a Console player?
The answer often has to do with money. Some people are not interested in spending thousands of dollars for a gaming PC, a monitor, and all the extra goodies that come with it.
Sure… I would love a PC, but I’m not going to spend that kind of cash on something that is only going to waste my time (videogames). I would rather spend a fraction of that money for a next-gen console and a big screen TV.
And considering I’ve been playing video games since the original NES, I have watched the entire video game industry evolve from games you played from a cartridge, to a disk, to entirely digital downloads. I’ve been playing video games since before online-gaming even existed…
I’ve been a Nintento gamer, Xbox, and PC gamer… where my first online WW2 shooter goes back to the Original Battlefield 1942…
It’s really funny to watch these young kids and people in their early 20’s… with such cocky attitudes about video games, when there are SOME people here who have been gaming longer than they have been alive.
This PC vs console hostility is complete nonsense.
PC players are not better than console players, and console players are not better than PC players. I can download this game to my laptop and I will magically become a “PC gamer”… am I suddenly going to start hating on console players?

It’s a lie, that you’ll need top-tier PC gear to be competitive. I run Enlisted on laptop. Having a lot of fun and are at the same time quite competitive.
I’m in my mid-30s so I guess we’ve been walking the same path brother.

I completely agree that PC has a competitive edge. I’m only saying the HOSTILITY between which platform we play on, is what I call “nonsense”.
And I was not accusing you of saying this,
I was only providing a general summary of what I have observed, when it comes down to conversations between PC and console players.
Console players would love to have their own space to play the game as well. I think the problem is that there is an oversaturation of games in the market, and not enough players for each game. So the solution must have been to create cross-play and force everybody into the same arena’s.
Who knows…
I’d rather be on good terms and play together, than always arguing.
