The most prominent tactics currently in game are human waves, so a ww1 setting would be perfect for those.

More then just a Event. I would prefer WW1 over all existing Once.
A Standalone like Stalingrad, with Pickelhauben and a lot of K98k vs the Blue Once with Lebels…

But first there needs to be some mechanism like respawn points to limit the use of automatic weapons. Otherwise it wouldn’t be the First World War you were imagined.
