End of the North African campaign

Holding North Africa was strategically important for the Axis: blocking the Suez Canal and establishing a foothold in the Mediterranean would have greatly complicated the Allies’ logistics.

The battles ended with varying degrees of success: from June 1940 until October 1942, the Allies were unable to seize the initiative. But with the third major offensive, the German and Italian defense line in the El Alamein area was finally breached.

After the bloody battles, the Axis forces were forced to retreat to Tunisia, where shortly afterwards, at Cape Bon, the remaining German and Italian soldiers surrendered on May 13, 1943.

At first I thought it was one of each gun and I was ok with it. But you get 2 of each, nice !

Good event I would say, though with This I will have something like 7 lanchester 50, what will I do with so much of them.

Cool gun model but it has miserable reloading speed i’m crying every time i was picking it up from the enemy corpses and was forced to wait eternity to reload that thing.
And after few weeks i stopped seeing them all together and all of them were replaced by VG1-5. Can you buff it’s reload speed along of the G41?

Pz III J from 1944 in North Africa?

You don’t even try to care about WW2 in drawings anymore?

UPD
References found, looks like G/F2 variants did make it in time to Tunisia 1943

UPD2
this actually seems to be Italy 1944, and there were no Pz IVs with skirts in North Africa

Pretty nice format this. Basically just play as normal and earn GO weapons. Me like.

I needed 1 more Lanchester 50, so I approve

Also this could have been another chance for a Fair Fight event with premade Italian and British squads and weapons,
maybe with Tiger 1 even,
alas.

66 green cards? YAY!
my collection grows! Now would be a good time to readjust customization prices and also expand customization to Italians so they dont wear German uniforms anymore.

It’s almost like Pavesi didn’t make the mag detachable…

Really like this little event, actually giving some very nice rewards.

Some “copy”

By that logic the Type 4 isn’t a copy of the M1 Garand… And neither is the BM-59…

so we are getting GO weapons now as rewards…

maybe we are going to eventually see more RMN-50 or G43 kurz on events hehe

You’re acting like this is the first time and that it wasn’t announced months ago.
