That’s why I’m making this suggestion, if more people play on all sides, the games will be more balanced.
Don’t play alone. You can’t really count on your random teammates. Even while having an engineer in their squads they still refuse to build one. They don’t build anything else - it’s purely for decorative purposes in their squads.
I don’t enjoy Enlisted anymore while playing alone - 90% of the playerbase are just “trash” and refuse to learn the game basics and blame the game because the loose most of the battles. And I don’t want to go into tryhard mode and carry these players (which don’t deserve to win) into victory.
Building rallies isn’t rocket science, and even the worst player should be able to do it - same goes for marking enemies.
Join any army literally gives you the unpopular faction. How is giving them chance to play the popular faction mitigate the problem?
BR3 for me now mostly just Soviet or US matches it’s pretty boring as they are superior to Germany.
And once you match as Germany vs competent USSR/US players then it’s over for you.
All they have to do is, adding some kind a fix to stop the 10. japanese match in a row. Im holding myself to not to puke because of it
I believe Germany is still one of the very strong factions in BR3, if they are losing, it is a skill problem.
Well, playing on two faction is better than playing on one faction.
and 150% bonus will also be tempting.
So your point is not to help the underpopulated faction?
Moreover players can just choose the two most populated faction and still get the bonus.
I’m trying to encourage players not to just play one faction, I have a lot of friends who only play Germany. If they can get a 50% boost by playing another faction, they’ll probably start with the Soviets or the Americans. 100% and 150% boosts would be tempting too.
Fair. Maps would help, like Japan for example myself and others are tired of playing the same maps over and over.
Germany and Allies you get more variety on paper, though again the queues seem to favour the same maps over and over that weve had for years.
No booster would ever make me play USSR. I despise Eastern Front maps. If China had been a sub faction of USSR and DF added Sino-Japanese War (where all Soviet squads swap to Chinese if those maps are queued), Id definitely be more open to considering USSR.
They already have Chinese voice lines, uniforms and models / squads. All they have to do is model some new assets (or reuse some pre-existing assets) and copy across some weapons already in the tech tree (such as the Vz.24, KE7, ZH-29, MP34, etc.) and they have the Sino-Japanese war essentially.
When selecting two factions, it is necessary to choose two opposing factions, so there is no problem.
They still can choose 2 opposing factions that stomp each other at different br.
So the current random matching is also meaningless, because I can still do it.
Current random match making requires every faction to at least stomp at a br which is not really common.
Choosing 2 opposing faction that stomp each other at different br is much easier.
Anyway, it’s also a matter of mindset. Regardless of the advantages, those who want to play only one nation will only play one nation.
Personally, I always play randomly because I’m first and foremost a WW2 fan and therefore I want to play everything, test everything, but a lot of players, a bit like on WT, just want to grind as much as possible without appreciating what they already have.
In any case, playing randomly with RU BR 4 / US BR 5 / GER BR 5 / JAP BR 2 out of 10 games I get:
6 Japan games,
2 Germany games,
1 Russian game,
1 American game.
But on the other hand, as soon as I put Germany in the BR 2 preset, I almost always come across it. Probably because many new players are attracted to this faction.
The problem for me is more the distribution of veterans. Germany BR 2 if you don’t do rallies you lose the game, Jap BR 2 everyone does rallies everywhere, boxes of ammunition, care, the allies know how to drive etc etc
Yeah exactly. It’s crazy to me they added two Chinese squads yet didnt make Sino Japanese War for them.
It’s true that Chinese forces were in Burma but one map alone doesnt seem justification to allow Chinese soldiers to be fighting Germans on D Day or in Tunisia…
Funny too how people complain at the suggestion of adding China ‘waaahh copy paste’ yet these same people demand Japan get a Tiger tank (which was never sent) and are okay with all four factions having a German rocket launcher or the Soviets having various American and British tech that the Western Allies do not.
It wouldve made more sense having China as a part of USSR since USSR already has American, British and obviously Soviet tech. Whereas China under the USA would be a tad awkward with German and Soviet tech.
Fair arguments.
Though yesterday I played Japan twice and there was NOT A SINGLE RALLYPOINT on the map the whole game aside from ones I built which were quickly destroyed by the enemy.
The following is a minor problem but one my squadmate understandably struggles with. If we swap between Allies and Axis every game, we get a tad confused who’s who.
Many a time my squadmate walks into a room and looks at an American say and hes used to playing USA and then its like oh hang on youre the enemy! and vice versa. So we tend to do at least a few games with one nation, then another.
The other problem is the wait times have definitely increased over these past few months. I believe more players are leaving due to a lack of new content and overall direction, as well as the stupid content that we do get once in a blue moon like jets that just pisses people off.
So like the game yesterday we were going to play Allies, tried 3 times but taking too long and kept getting stupid gamemodes so swapped to Japan.
More and more now we try 3 times and then go to War Thunder where its bam straight into a game.
We can complain about split factions but I do think DarkFlow just needs to really attract new players and market the game more (but not present Enlisted like its a film and then players find out how crappy it is)
Myself, youtuber Napoleon Total and others have been asking for the Sino-Japanese War which amongst various other benefits is guaranteed to attract the very large Chinese market.
Lol there is big difference between a few copy paste equipment in tech tree for balance and most of the tech tree equipment are copy paste.
So you’re saying “playing in a stack = win”?
Who could have thought
