Enable Keyboard & Mouse on Console

As it’s already known,

Console can use Keyboard and Mouse in Enlisted, however only in the Interface and Main Menu.

This is an already established feature being withheld from Console players.

“It’s unfair for Controller Players”

Keyboard and Mouse will automatically lock the person into PC Queues.

“Combined with Aim Assist it will be Overpowered”

There will be no Aim Assist

Aiming with a thumbstick takes much Joy away from this game, often it’s a joke how 2 Players at 10-20m distances repeatedly fail hitting each other.

Not to mention AI moving like a crackhead and taking off to random directions and the lack of customization in sensitivity.

For instance if you have low sensitivity as a Tanker, your commander will take very long to turn around and observe the area when exposed,

However if you have high sensitivity, aiming at weakspots of enemy Tanks will be hard.

Another instance,

If your sensitivity in a plane is low, you will have trouble pulling the thumbstick towards the enemy plane,

But if you have high sensitivity you will have trouble hitting ground targets precisely and trouble lining up to targets within time.

Another instance: if you use a sniper rifle you lower the zoom sensitivity, but this applies to your rifles aswell, meaning it will be impossible to snap/flick after Aim Assist which pulls your crosshair near the enemy.

But if you make the zoom sensitivity 1:1 then it will be difficult if not futile to hit sniper shots.

You can’t set a sensitivity without crippling one thing or another.

As always (because this seems to be a often repeated topic), that will be a big NO from me. I play on xbox. I usually turn off PC crossplay, though not always. Mouse & Keyboard on console is not good for the future of console play, for various reasons. The largest of which is fair play amongst other console players.

You say you want to have a chance against PC players, so you want PC controls. Then go play on a PC. If you want to play on console, against other console players, turn off PC crossplay. Having the advantage of controls is one of the primary reasons that console players have the option to turn off the crossplay. Introducing it will give advantage over other console players, simply bypassing the crossplay disable.

The thing is, if a person is on console, it may be because:

  1. That’s what they prefer.
  2. They can’t afford fancy PCs or setups to improve their play.
  3. In the case of one of my good buddies, he lost several fingers on his left hand. He can operate a controller just fine, and work with the limitations that it has against players with the same controls. However, against PC controls (M&K) he doesn’t stand a chance. Its not like he can use a keyboard either. So he sticks to console.

So M&K on consoles will be an absolute NO from me, and all the guys I play with.

As far as aim sensitivity goes, there needs to be some adjustment options on console. I’ve noted as much in posts prior.

So your entire point is

“Keyboard & Mouse Console Players will have advantage over Controller Console Players”

which, as I have literally, with emphasis, said that plugging Keyboard & Mouse will force and lock the player into PC Queues meaning they are not in Queue with Controller players.

and also, no, the point is not about having a chance against PC players, the point is being able to play on Keyboard & Mouse,
Which automatically puts me into PC lobbies.

I don’t have crossplay on right now anyway

For instance in Warzone Controllers have absolute advantage over PC players thanks due RAA, and despite that, I play on Keyboard & Mouse merely because you feel greater satisfaction by accomplishing a feat on your own than to accomplish it with assistance.

Do I get wrecked by RAA players? Yeah I watch every kill cam to make myself certain that it indeed was a controller player with no fail, and I’d do it again.

Still it would be badly wrong to block the access to Mouse and Keyboard to console players, also by connecting the device the pc cross-play would be by default enabled, just like other games, such as Warzone, did in the past.
