These are marginally faster than the stock BR 2 zero, have 80 rounds more for 20mm and the droptank-gimmick. They are fine for BR 2, especially since the BR 3 KI-100 has 2x 250 kg and twice the 20 mm ammo than these.
Considering that the droptank is nearly useless anyway this plane is just slightly improved zero. Definitely br 2 material

Yes, let’s justify it with obviously overpowered aircraft that in its current state has no business to be in BR3.
Literally a fighter aircraft with 20mm cannons and the average bomb load of an attacker aircraft of the same BR.
It’s never good idea to try justify balance changes with obvious disbalance.

That’s fine. You also can focus on the part where I said that they are (IMO) only marginally better than the stock versions if you want a different argument. 
Its not like that at all Ki-100 and P-51D-5 are on the same level its not overpowered at all. Not to mention its a slow aircraft and slow aircraft are very vulnerable to AA guns. Despite Ki-100 having good characteristics its very easily damaged. Considering Japan has no ground attackers that are BR III there is only one that is BR II /BR III very weak guns and single bomb and if Bf 109 F-4/trop had its bomb would be better then Ki-100. Ki-100 is not OP at all its the most average aircraft the jack of all trades its good for everything and yet excels at nothing. A6M3 is a bit better Zero but really there is no big leap forward A6M2 is better even in war thunder since it can carry 250 kg bomb.

I didn’t know that p51 has 20mm cannons. Ki-100 is clearly superior to p51.
Not to mention p51 is already top meta fighter plane.
Why are you not comparing them to ones with no bomb loadout at all?

Very simple you wont be facing them just look at Allies air force BR III specially the premiums … Japan fights P51 mostly. P 51 is better and high altitude dont dog fight it and even if you lose spawn P 38 and boom and zoom the Ki-100 what hes gonna spawn after he dies ? Spoiler Carrier plane since there is nothing else really…
Play Japan for a bit against people that have premiums or run multiple aircrafts on their loadout and you will know how easy is to counter the Ki 100 and lets not start with the tanks… This is the very definition of asymmetrical balance and even if you dont like the P 51 you have plenty of planes to kill it like Spitfire Mk VC/trop

All your arguments are based on ultra minmaxed meta lineups. not an average experience in BR3 enlisted match.
No its not it based in balance if Japan has worse tanks then they need better planes then the allies…to compensate for that and spoiler they dont have better planes even with the Ki-100…

50 cals are very servicable and snipe pilots very fequently unlike 20mm that are better at crippling the plane directly. Just dismissing the 50 cal because those are 50 cals is the wrong approach.
Ahhh its hard to learn them they cant play planes like P 51 or P 47D since they require thinking not like brain dead planes like Ki -100 and Zero.
As a matter of principle, it’s really not a good approach to put a completely obvious powercreep into game, with the reasoning it compensates for some already established imbalance.
Because you’re just creating a new standard that people will then use to defend adding more total BS, just ruining the balance furthermore. Increasing gap between average equipment and meta stuff of the same BR.
It’s not like devs couldn’t add BR3+ non powecrept attackers instead.
And whats the balance of Churchill at BR III or Mosquito and there is planes as I told you that are better then Ki-100 at even earlier BRs and you can put multiples while with the Ki-100 you have a single plane and thats it there is no loadouts to rotate planes like you can do with the other 3 factions. Play a bit Japan at BR III against some people that have premiums and you will understand that Ki-100 its very easy to deal with in 1 vs 1 or even worse in 2 vs 1 that happens most of the times since Allies have capable ground attackers that can be fighters…
Neither of them are meta. The fact that Japanese doesn’t have equivalent (Just as Americans doesn’t have equivalent of lunge mines, swords and so on) of these vehicles doesn’t mean they need powercreep as compensation.
This is trash side equipment … that is getting worse and worse the higher you go on BR…
And how its power creep are you suggesting Japan must have everything worse then the Allies tanks,planes,ground attackers ? I really dont see a logic in your statement…

Ki-100 is obvious powercreep for anyone with functional eyes.
Name a single other BR3 fighter plane with good flight model, 20mm cannons, 2x250 bombs.
Lmao 180 of penetration is good across all BRs, just as swords.

Its the Japanese equivalent of P-51D that the allies can use and add another plane like spitfire to counter the Ki-100 …there is no power creep since Japan is facing only US and US have ways to counter it and have ground attackers and tanks better then Japan and better planes that if you pay for a bit extra slots you can equip and win every battle against the Ki-100 since Japan has only this plane at that BR …that is BR III plane and even against USSR Japan will have even worse chances since USSR have even better tanks and planes to counter it.
